Here’s the next part of Katie and Evan’s story! Last installment was a little spin off about Katie’s bald little sister Kelly so now we go back to Katie and Evan as their summer of fun on the yacht ends. Evan has been growing Katie’s hair out but that’s sure to not last for much longer. And, will a new girl join her short haired teammates in chopping it all off? Summer Loving, Had Me a Blast
”Are you sure it has to be over?” I asked, staring out over the crystal clear water that gently rocked the yacht.
”Sorry, babe. You promised you’d be back for the season in the fall,” Evan said, putting a hand on my bare lower back. His fingers grazed the top of my string bikini bottom.
I took a deep breath, smelling the salty air. The breeze blew through my shaggy, platinum blonde pixie cut. With the hair having grown in all summer, it was long and I had the front tied up in two tiny pigtails. The warm sun felt good on my tanned skin. I was a lovely golden brown, having worn nothing but a string bikini for most of the summer.
Leaning my head on my boyfriend’s muscular shoulder, I smelled the faint scent of coconut from the sunscreen he wore. His body was incredible as always, kept toned from daily workouts in the small gym on the yacht and from frequent swims in the ocean.
His hair was shaggy too, covered by a backwards hat. He had seen me with so many different lengths already in our 9 month long relationship but this was the first time I had ever seen him not clean cut. His beard had been growing the whole time we had been on the yacht and it gave him a rugged look I adored.
”I can’t believe we get into dock today. And then we drive home tomorrow and I start practice back on Monday. Then two weeks and the semester starts up. This has been great, thank you,” I said, looking up and pulling Evan in for a kiss.
“We knew it couldn’t last forever. And this shaggy hair won’t last much longer either,” he said after we kissed, ruffling the overgrown hair on my nape.
I looked up at him and squinted at him while I smiled a sweet, closed lipped smile. The cook called us in for lunch, the last meal we’d eat on the yacht. We decided to take our meal out on the deck so we could watch as we pulled closer and closer to shore. The fresh sushi would be missed, the fish either caught daily or bought right off of the docks at the ports we stopped in during our Caribbean tour.
We stayed the night in a hotel, the yacht staff needing to clean everything and rest before their next journey. Evan had explained that, although he had gotten the use of the boat for free, the owner rented it out when he didn’t need it and some lucky cruisers would be hopping on in just a few days.
The shower was luxurious, with multiple heads spraying out a steady flow of hot water. As the steam fogged up the glass walls, we made love in the shower, kissing as we enjoyed our last night of vacation before we returned to the real world and I went back to live in the house with all of my teammates.
Back to Boring
Driving back was boring, the trek back to the little college town was uneventful. I wore a little white tank top and short athletic shorts, unready to return the world of wearing clothes. My annoyingly long hair was partially managed thanks to the little Nike baseball cap I wore. I pushed my bangs back to keep them from falling into my eyes and, when not worn in little pigtails or slicked back with gel, was the only way I tolerated the excessive length. Whatever Evan had planned for my hair, I hoped it would be shorter and easier to manage than the platinum blonde mess I had.
As we pulled up to the front of my house, I looked wistfully at Evan. This was the end. The real world was staring me in the face. And I wasn’t ready.
”You’ve got to do it. Two more years of school and you’re done. You’d regret it if you didn’t. Maybe not right away, but eventually you would. College was one of the best times of my life and I know it has been for you. I’ll be here through it all,” Evan said, as if he was reading my mind and already knew what I was considering.
I smiled at him, a real one, the red glow of the nearly setting sun lighting my face. “I love you, do you know that?” I hummed.
”I love you, too. Now get out of here and I’ll pick you up after practice tomorrow,” he said, leaning over to kiss me.
Ever the gentleman, Evan got out with me and helped me get my luggage. I had packed light, just a few outfits, a couple of swimsuits, my laptop that I barely used, and some toiletries. I didn’t need much considering I had so little hair and had barely worn any clothes over the last few months. Just a small rolling suitcase and my backpack.
I refused to let him walk me to the door, not wanting him to have to endure the ogling of my teammates in the house. Most would already be home. One last kiss, up on my tiptoes, a long and slow one, and then it was goodbye.
He watched me walk up to the front door and only left when I finally waved him off. I opened the door and was met by laughter, out of tune singing, and plenty of giddy chatter. The girls were home.
”Katie! Oh my god is that you?” I heard from the den off to my right, the faint singsong Icelandic accent of none other than Elsa.
I turned to face her and smiled, “Of course it’s me! Oh my god I missed you!”
We squealed and ran to each other, hugging one another. Once I held her I was able to see that she had, in fact, maintained her Chelsea cut through the summer. I rubbed the back of her head, feeling that, instead of the careful fade my boyfriend always gave her, it was instead all one length except for her long bangs. She had most likely been buzzing it herself, or possibly one of our roommates. We pulled away from the hug, holding each other’s forearms.
“I have missed your handsome boyfriend almost as much as I’ve missed you!,” she said rubbing her head. “And I’m sure I’m not the only one!”
“You know it! Although, it looks like you’ve gone just as long without a cut as I have,” I heard a new voice say from behind me.
I turned to find my cheer captain, Emma standing next to the suitcase I left behind on the ground. Her hair was just as shaggy and overgrown as mine, making it clear she was at least one of the people that had missed Evan.
We both squealed and ran up to hug one another. I kissed her on the cheek, “Couldn’t find a hairstylist you liked?”
She gave me a squeeze and pulled away, “Nobody does it like Evan. I went in for a trim once at the start of the summer and it just wasn’t the same. Your boyfriend is never allowed to leave for that long again.”
”And me?” I asked with a smug smile.
”Yeah, I guess you should stay around too,” she said with a wink.
The rest of the girls were just as excited to see me and everybody was just as surprised as Emma to see my hair so long. Annie had kept her bleached blonde pixie trimmed neatly thanks to the barbershop that sponsored her and Anna was rocking her signature platinum buzzcut. Without my influence in the house, nobody else had joined the five of us who had short hair.
I was also surprised to meet the newest member of our team, a sweet southern belle with a long drawling accent and even longer natural brown hair. It hung down to her narrow waist in a loose braid. Her name was Janie and she had gorgeous sea green eyes and had the perfect summer sun-kissed tan like the rest of us.
She was surprised to see that another one of her teammates had such short hair and she seemed to keep touching her hair as she talked to me.
”So you’re the one with the hairstylist boyfriend I keep hearing about?” she asked, her voice spilling out like sweet tea.
”That’s me, even if it doesn’t look like it,” I said, taking off my cap and running my fingers through my overgrown hair.
”I don’t know, your hair is shorter than anybody I’ve ever cheered with before. Even if it is longer than Anna’s. She’s so sweet, by the way. I actually watched some of her vlogs before I came here,” Janie said, touching her own hair thoughtfully.
”She really is. I was with her when she buzzed all of her hair off. I’ve been with everybody when they first made their big chops actually. That way they get the friends and family discount from my boyfriend, Evan. And by discount I mean completely free,” I said, planting a seed with her like I had with every other girl in the house.
”That’s really sweet of him,” she drawled, her eyes drifting off as if she was deep in thought.
A New Teammate and an Old Friend
For the rest of the night we all chatted for the rest of the night, Emma reminding everybody to turn in early with a 7am workout coming in the morning. No drinking was allowed during the season to keep our bodies fit and toned. I was quick to turn in, ready for sleep after a long day of traveling.
When my alarm went off, I was ready to get started. Summer was over and now the work had begun. I loved Evan and our time on the yacht, but I couldn’t help but feel the excited energy throughout the house. I put on a sports bra and some workout shorts, putting my hair up into two little pigtails like I had on the yacht.
”Let’s go ladies! We need to get to be at the gym in 10 minutes!” I heard Emma shouting as she walked through down the hall.
I pulled my tennis shoes on and met her in the hall. She was dressed the same but used an elastic headband to push her bangs back from her face.
”You know, if your boyfriend would cut my hair I would even have to mess with this,” she said, pointing at the headband.
”Soon enough,” I said with a laugh. “I’ll check and see if he can squeeze you in. Elsa and I need cuts too, you know.”
Practice went well, being spent mostly with being introduced to any new choreography as well as some lift practice. My skills came in handy for dance routines and stunts so a day like this one had been easy on me. Not strong enough to be a base and too tall to be a flier, I spent my time on the ground. Nobody falling on me, and, more importantly, nobody dropping me. Anna nearly took a tumble but fortunately Janie was there with a timely save.
She had immediately fit in with the team, both in the gym and in the house. Anna was the next youngest on the team and the two seemed to already be close. The two looked like an odd pair, Anna with her 1/8 inch long, platinum blonde hair, Janie and her waist length twin French braids of brown hair. And, I kept noting on water breaks that Janie seemed to envy her shaven headed companion.
”It’s just so hot,” Janie said, Anna holding up her new friend’s braids and fanning her neck.
Anna glistened with sweat, her toned stomach sucking in and out as she caught her breath, “I’m a lot less hot this season than I was last season. God I love this haircut.” She ran a hand over her head and sent up a fine mist of sweat for emphasis.
“I’m so jealous. And it made you famous too,” Janie said, standing up and holding her own hair.
”Oh fake isn’t all it’s cracked up to be,” Anna started to say, shrugging her shoulders.
“Alright ladies! Back to it!” Emma shouted, interrupting the conversation. And we were back to work just like that.
After practice, I hung around to talk with Emma and Elsa. Evan had openings, three to be specific. Almost like he planned to take care of the girls who needed cuts.
I noticed that Janie had also stayed after everyone else. She seemed to be kicking at something on the gym floor, even though there was nothing there. It felt more like a nervous little girl waiting to ask permission for something she didn’t think she would get.
Emma must have noticed too because she asked, “Janie, what’s up? You look like you want to ask something.”
“It’s nothing, really. It’s silly. I hate to ask,” Janie said, avoiding speaking her mind.
Emma rolled her eyes, “Janie. Come on. What’s up?”
I smiled and looked away, but Janie directed the question at me.
”I was wondering if maybe Katie’s boyfriend had any openings for a haircut. Maybe a color too,” Janie said, shuffling from foot to foot as she spoke.
”You know what kind of haircuts he does, right? I’m not sure you’re his type of client,” Emma said suspiciously.
”No, I know what he does. That’s why I wanted him,” she said shyly.
I smiled, this one wasn’t even hard. The only problem was, Evan didn’t have an appointment for her. At least not today.
”Well, it might be a little while, but-,” I started.
”She can have my appointment,” Elsa interrupted in her singsong speech.
I looked at her, surprised, “But you said you missed being able to see Evan?”
”Its okay, this cut is pretty easy to maintain and the girls around the house love getting to cut it. I just miss the fade but I can wait a little while longer while he gets caught back up,” Elsa said, rubbing the buzzed part of her head. Her bangs were damp with sweat but she didn’t seem to mind.
Emma and I shrugged our shoulders at each other. “Alright, if you’re sure,” I said.
”After today, I’m sure,” she said, this time with more conviction. “Thank you Elsa,” she said, hugging the model-like cheerleader.
”Anything for you, dear,” Elsa said, “As long as you get something that makes you happy.”
”Let’s get back to the house and get showered. Evan said he won’t have time to wash our hair so we’ll need to do it,” I said, starting off on the walk back to our house.
Soon we were showered and waiting. Janie was so excited to go, her hair was still wet. With our short hair, Emma and I were ready to go much more quickly. Neither of us had styled our hair aside from running a brush through it after the shower and we both looked especially shaggy.
”I’m so ready to be like y’all,” Janie said, pointing at our already dry hair.
”Soon enough. Do you have anything planned?” I asked, knowing Evan would be able to suggest something if she didn’t.
”I have an idea but I don’t want to say it in case you guys try to talk me out of it,” she said, crossing her arms over her chest, covering the white crop top she wore.
Emma laughed, “The freshmen keep getting crazier and crazier.”
My phone buzzed, Evan had texted saying he was hear. “Come on ladies, it’s time!”
We hurried out to the car, Evan standing next to his Range Rover. I was surprised to see that he had already gotten his hair cut, returning to his classic faded crop, short hair casually pushed back with some expensive product. He had kept the beard, having only shaped it up. The look nearly made me feral.
I walked up and hugged him, reaching up onto my tiptoes to kiss him. “I like the look,” I whispered, clenching my teeth with arousal.
”You’re really about to like your own look, too,” he said, nearly growling at the thought.
I had a good idea of what was going to happen to me, my return to the signature mohawk an inevitable turn of events. Evan wanted me to spend a whole season with a mohawk, showing it off to everybody at the games.
”And who is this?” Evan asked, opening the back door of his car for Janie.
”Hi, sir, I’m Janie,” she said shyly.
”It’s nice to meet you, Janie. Call me Evan, you’ll make me feel ancient calling me sir like that. Katie told me you were looking for a big transformation,” Evan said, letting the young woman into the back seat.
”Yes, sir-I mean Evan. If you don’t mind,” Janie said from the back seat.
“I don’t mind at all,” he said, politely closing the door.
He then walked around to let Emma into her seat in the back, putting an arm around her in a side hug.
”Miss me?” he asked, playing with her long hair like he owned it.
”Shut up and drive, you beautiful giant,” she said, pushing his hand away playfully and climbing into the car.
Evan came around and let me in last, wanting to give me one more kiss. “Any idea what Janie wants?”
”No clue, she’s being really quiet about it. All I know is it’s a big cut and she wants to try a new color,” I said, stepping into the car.
”Then I guess Janie will be going first,” he said, loud enough for her to hear.
I was sure I heard her gulp as Evan closed my door and got into his seat. It was a short drive to Evan’s shop. Pulling into the familiar spot in front of the familiar shop made the feeling of returning home complete. Lacey, Evan’s receptionist, smiled at me as I walked in.
”Katie! You’re back! And your hair! It’s so long!” Lacey said, her bobbed hair tucked behind her ears revealing her high undercut.
”I know! This guy took a vacation from cutting hair, even my own,” I said, hugging her as she stepped out from behind the counter.
“Hey Lacey, you remember Emma and this is Janie,” Evan said, pointing at my two teammates.
Lacey laughed when she saw Janie’s long hair, “She looks a lot like Katie did the first time she came in. I’m guessing she’ll be leaving looking a lot like she did when she left?”
Janie looked like she could melt into the floor, but Evan patted her on the shoulder, winking at Lacey, “Something like that.”
Evan led us back to his room and let us all in. Janie stood next to the same red leather chair I had first sat in what felt like a lifetime ago. She looked afraid to sit down but Evan didn’t care.
”Alright, grab a seat. I know you want a color and Katie is getting a new color too so we’ll take turns with the cuts while your color sets,” Evan said.
Janie sat down and tried unsuccessfully to get comfortable in the seat. Evan toyed with her hair for a moment, it still slightly damp after only being towel dried following her shower.
”I was actually hoping for a new color, too,” Emma said.
Evan and I both looked at her in shock, Evan raising his eyebrow displaying the slightest bit of amusement.
”What? I figure since I keep my hair so short all the color will be long gone by the time I start applying to jobs after the season ends. What better time to try something new than now?” she said, shrugging her shoulders.
”What were you thinking?” he asked, gathering Janie’s hair up with a clip and tying a strip of tissue paper around her neck.
”I was actually thinking maybe teal. To match the school colors,” Emma said.
”I think that’s perfect, Katie was thinking of doing the same thing too,” Evan said, guiding me to my answer and revealing my fate.
”Could I do that too?” Janie asked, her voice barely above a peep.
”Three teal dye jobs coming up. Plus Katie’s white stripes. Since the colors are blue and white after all,” Evan said, smirking at me.
”Could we incorporate white into mine too?” Janie asked, Evan draping a black cape over her body and letting her hair down from the clip.
”Depends, what are we doing with your hair?” Evan asked, running his fingers through it.
”There was this girl I went to high school with. She cut her hair like Miley Cyrus did, back when her hair was short. You know, long on the top and shaved on the sides? I always liked it and wanted to do it but I was scared to. Who would expect a cheerleader to have hair like that? Not here though,” Janie said.
”If that’s how you want it cut, that’s how you’ll get it. I think we’ll dye the long part teal and the sides white. I’ll be able to get them lighter with the bleach since the hair will be so short,” Evan explained, gathering the hair on Janie’s crown up with a clip.
”Yes sir, I mean Evan. Sounds good to me. Is it okay that I’m a little scared?” Janie asked, nervously watching herself in the mirror.
“Why of course it is,” Evan said, gathering her hair into a ponytail at the base of her nape. He then snipped the ponytail off with his razor sharp scissors as if her hair was not even there and held it up. “You are losing a lot of hair after all.”
Janie gasped, holding a hand up to her mouth from underneath her cape. Evan wasted no time, taking his clippers and fixing the number two guard on. He flicked them on and they hummed to life.
”You ready? No coming back after this. I could cut this into a bob if we stopped here,” Evan said, holding the clippers up like he was teasing her.
He then plunged them into her neckline, sending the already shorter hair cascading to the ground, not waiting for an answer.
”Evan!” she exclaimed in her sweet southern accent. “I didn’t answer yet!”
My handsome boyfriend laughed, “Yes, but I didn’t want to give you a chance to talk yourself out of it. You’ve been thinking about this for a while after all.”
Janie laughed as Evan pushed her head down so her chin would touch her chest, him driving the clippers up into her hair again and again, “Katie, your boyfriend is bold.”
”Yes he is, and I love it,” I said proudly, winking at Emma who leaned on the counter as she watched the haircut.
Evan worked to quickly buzz the undercut, taking it all the way up to the edge of her crown with the clippers, leaving only a quarter inch of hair that was so short we could see Janie’s pale scalp through it. What the falling hair revealed was a graceful neck, two small, cute ears with double studs in each lobe, and a girl who seemed to finally be able to be who she wanted to be.
The hair on her sides and nape were quickly finished and Evan switched the guard out for a number one. He faded the short hair down at a mid level taper, not removing much hair but giving the undercut an even cleaner look. Janie’s confidence grew as her hair was removed and she had a big goofy grin stretched across her pretty face.
”Oh wow, I can’t believe I’m doing this,” she said.
”You’re doing it alright. Have of your hair is completely gone and I’m not even done yet,” Evan said, taking a trimmer and giving the girls neckline and the hair around her ears shape.
Finished with the undercut, Evan now let the long hair from Janie’s crown fall down. He used another hair tie to tie the long hair about four inches from the root. He snipped that off and let the hair fall into her face.
”It’s not going to fall into my face like this when you’re done will it?” Janie asked, squinting at the hair in her eyes.
”Don’t worry, it’ll stay out of your eyes. As long as you come in for trims once a month,” Evan said, beginning to snip away at the already damp hair.
He combed it up and snipped the longer hair off at about two and a half inches long. He was fast like always, moving with practiced speed as he knew he had two more haircuts, some bleaching, and plenty of dying ahead of him. Soon he was done removing the length and began to carefully add texture to the now significantly shorter hair.
Janie seemed like she could hardly believe what happened to her, she already looked so different. Evan ran a comb through her hair, moving it in different directions and trimming hair off occasionally to make sure it fell well.
”Alright, all done,” he said, blowing hair off of her neck and shoulders with the blow dryer.
”Oh my god,” Janie said softly.
”Like it?” Evan said, already mixing the bleach to lighten her brown hair for the coming colors he would put in.
”I love it! I can’t believe I didn’t cry! I think I might later, though. When I come to my senses,” Janie said with a slight chuckle.
Evan began to paint the strong chemical onto Janie’s hair, starting with the long hair on the top of her head first as it would take longer to process. After the top, he moved to the sides, applying it to the short fuzzy hair.
”Alright, time for you to move and Emma gets her cut and bleach on. We’ll have to let yours lift for a while because your hair is so dark,” Evan said.
Janie obediently stood and sat on a stool, the cape still around her neck. Emma replaced her and Evan snapped on his number three guard.
”The usual?” Evan asked, setting his clippers down and putting a tissue paper strip and cape onto Emma.
”Can you do a zero fade this time? I haven’t felt clean in months with you gone. I want it extra short this time. Maybe an inch and a half on top,” Emma said, sitting happily as Evan flipped the clippers on.
He started on the sides with the three guard, buzzing up to the edges of her crown, pulling away and cutting through some of the longer hair as he did. He started with her nape soon he was finished removing the bulk of the hair from the sides of her head and from her nape.
Next he switched to a number two guard, starting the taper up high above her temples. Switching to a number one and then finally removing the guard altogether, he finished the fade up, leaving almost no hair below her temples. He put the clippers down and used a spray bottle to wet the remaining hair on her head.
”I already feel so much better,” Emma said, closing her eyes in ecstasy as Evan began to comb up and snip her hair off short.
”I’m glad I could help,” Evan said with a laugh.
”I can’t believe he had to buy your hair for you to let him do this the first time,” I said.
”Buy her hair?” Janie asked.
”At the annual salon fundraiser. Emma used to have longer hair but didn’t get a sponsor so when her hair came up for auction, Evan bought it and now she rocks the short hair like me and now you,” I said, prodding Emma’s shoulder with my finger.
”Hey, I’m not ashamed to admit when I’m wrong. I thought the girls were crazy for cutting their hair but I was wrong,” Emma said, smiling at her reflection and the hair that was growing rapidly shorter.
When Evan finished, the hair was short, shorter than Emma had ever gone so far, and was cute and textured.
Evan started to put the bleach on her hair as well and checked his watch, “Not much longer for you, Janie. Why don’t you go ahead and take a seat at the sink?”
Janie followed the instructions as well as she had up until this point. I knew my cut was coming soon and I shuffled with the anticipation. Emma’s hair was fully coated with bleach and she moved out of the seat. I sat down as Evan rinsed Janie’s hair.
”Oh yeah, this is perfect. You had virgin hair before this so I’m guessing you’ve never been blonde?” Evan asked.
”Never, I can’t believe I am now,” Janie said, sitting up and looking at her nearly white hair in the mirror.
”You won’t be for long,” Evan said as he began applying the teal dye to the hair on her crown. The work was quick as her hair was so short and soon he began to apply the correct mixture of colors to make the buzzed sides truly white.
Finished applying the bleach, Evan now turned to me. He put my cape on and wasted no time in sectioning out the same familiar inch and a half wide strip down the center of my head. He took his clippers and began shaving the right side of my head, plunging the clippers into the front of my hair, right next to the mohawk.
”Whoa, what haircut are you getting?” Janie asked.
”Katie’s favorite haircut is a mohawk, I’m guessing that’s what this is,” Emma explained.
”That’s right, this girl is the trendsetter for your team. At the end of last season, this girl plopped down in my seat and asked for a black and purple mohawk. She didn’t have any of these piercings or tattoos before that either. Just long blonde hair,” Evan said, fully tracing the right side of my mohawk, leaving behind just a trace of blonde stubble from my root touch up just days before.
My scalp was so pale, especially in comparison to my tanned skin. I loved the way it looked as Evan removed more and more of my hair.
”Her last boyfriend dumped her and Katie thought this was the logical next step,” Emma teased.
”I traded in for a better model,” I said, wrinkling my nose at Evan.
My hair was the perfect length to bring back the mohawk, just as Evan had planning. It was maybe two and half inches long at it’s longest and was an inch and a half long in the back as my sides and back had been shorter. My right side was soon finished and Evan began to do the same work to the right. He had cut my hair like this so many times that by now he could have done it in his sleep.
What should have been routine was building up a deep and burning arousal within me. I had waited for months to finally be back under his clippers and now it felt so good to be receiving this attention again. If only I was alone with him, but I suspected he planned things this way, probably just to torture me. God, was that sexy.
Soon, my sides had been fully shaved with the clippers but Evan didn’t remove the clips that held my mohawk in place. Instead, he massaged the sides of my head with a damp hot towel before coating on a liberal coat of foamy white shaving cream.
”What’s he doing now?” Janie asked, her dye coated hair standing up like a cockatiel’s feathers.
”A razor shave. I like the sides shaved smooth,” I said, trying to sound as normal as possible even though all I wanted to do was fondle myself under the cape.
”Oh wow, so it’ll be like really bald then,” Janie said.
”She was completely bald once,” Emma said, raising an eyebrow at Janie. “Back when I first cut my hair short.”
”That’s crazy, I don’t know if I could be that brave,” Janie said.
Evan started the razor shave the same way he did the clipper cut. He started on the right side of the mohawk, carefully tracing the edge with his straight razor.
”My little sister is bald, too. She’s your age. She had Evan shave it off right before her graduation,” I said. “We’ll have to take a picture together and send it to her, she’s never seen my mohawk.”
”You girls are all crazy. Maybe I’ll have to try it some time,” Emma said thoughtfully.
”Yeah you need to for sure. If you like the haircuts, you’ll love the shaves,” I said blissfully.
My right side was done by the time Evan needed to rinse the dye from Janie’s hair. He towel dried it and promised he would blow dry and style it before she left and he returned to shave the left side of my head. Janie watched in awe, looking like she wanted to feel the smooth side of my head.
”You can feel it when we’re done,” I said with a side-eyed smile.
“Really?” Janie asked.
”It’s kind of a household pastime. Everybody loves rubbing Katie’s hair. But now everybody will want to get their hands on your hair just like they do with mine and all the other short haired girls,” Emma said.
“That sounds so nice. I love when people play with my hair,” Janie said.
Evan was just as fast my shaving the left side of my head and I was left feeling finally at ease with my hair. I loved the way the mohawk looked and I was glad to have it back. Evan stepped away to rinse the bleach from Emma’s hair and left me to stroke the sides of my head. I had to play it cool but the touch of my smooth head always set me off. Inside my short denim shorts I felt my sex nearly throbbing.
Evan applied teal dye to Emma’s hair first, covering her whole head as he had with the bleach. Then he came to dye mine. My hair was already bleached and so he began by dying my hair in alternating strips of teal and white, with teal being at the front. He left Emma and me to sit while our dye set and took a blow dryer and round brush to Janie’s hair in the chair.
He swept the long hair up, standing it up high, like on of Miley Cyrus’s most famous red carpet looks. I could hardly believe this was the same girl I had just met the day before. She seemed so sweet and innocent, but here she was looking like a rockstar with her short multicolored hair.
She ran a hand up her nape after Evan removed her cape. “I can’t believe this is me. I’m definitely going to cry later but oh my god I love it so much, thank you!”
She turned and wrapped Evan in a full hug. He politely hugged her back and smiled at me.
”Alright, hands off my boyfriend, he isn’t done with Emma and me,” I said sarcastically.
Janie stepped away and covered her mouth, “Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry.”
”I’m joking, this man spends all day cutting women’s hair. I’m not the jealous type, I know he’s all mine,” I said, standing and putting an arm around Evan.
”I am all yours but if I better get the dye out of your team captain’s hair or her hair won’t like it,” Evan said, meeting Emma at the sink.
He rinsed Emma’s hair and blow dried it. The styling was quick, just a little pomade to give her short hair some texture. Then he rinsed mine, fanning it out with the hair gel I had always used the last time I had a mohawk. As he blow dried it into place, I felt my phone buzz.
Looking down I saw I had gotten a text from my little sister Kelly. My parents had dropped her off at school earlier that day, and now my guess is that she was finally on her own.
The text was a picture and when I opened it, all I could do was laugh. Kelly’s head was still bald, as I expected, but there was also another girl with a smooth shaved head as well.
”Roomie bonding,” was all of the explanation I needed.
”Janie, look at my sister. She was already bald and it looks like she talked her roommate into shaving her head too,” I said, holding my phone up so everybody could see it.
”Let’s take a selfie and send it back to her!” Janie said, excited to get to show off her new hair.
Emma and Janie crouched on either side of me, their heads next to mine. I held up my camera and snapped a few pictures as we modeled our haircuts. Once we decided on one we all liked, I sent my reply. I knew my dyed mohawk would shock her and that made me smile. I was the first one to shock everybody with my hair and I think I still held the title for most shocking.
Evan swept up the hair that littered the floor as Emma and I each hugged Janie.
”Thanks for this, y’all. You’ve really made me feel so welcome on the team,” Janie said.
”Maybe this will become our new welcome ritual,” I said, winking at Emma.
”I’ll be gone next year so I guess it’ll be up to you,” Emma said with a shrug.
Evan looked at me proudly and mouthed, “Another one down.”
A House Divided
Back at the house, the responses were mixed. Most of the girls either had short hair or loved those of us who did. Shandra and Betty still judged the short haired girls and were thoroughly disgusted that Janie had joined us.
”Gross, they got another one,” I heard Betty mutter.
”It’s a shame, she was so pretty,” Shandra said.
Fortunately Janie only heard the compliments but still, that night I heard a knock on my door. I had just rinsed the gel from my mohawk and was towel drying my hair. When I opened it, I was met by Janie, tears running down her cheeks, her hair still perfectly styled.
”I told you I’d cry,” she said, walking past me and plopping on my bed.
”It’s a lot to take in, isn’t it?” I asked, sitting next to her and putting my tattooed left arm around her.
”Yeah, I guess so,” she sniffled.
I kissed her forehead, “I know what might cheer you up.”
”What’s that?” she asked, looking at me hopefully.
”I’ll let you rub my head,” I said, pretending to toss my mostly non-existent hair.
”Only if you play with mine after I’m done,” Janie said gleefully.
Here’s the next installment, I hope you enjoyed it! Be sure to read all of the parts if you haven’t! What would you like to see next? Maybe Shandra or Betty need to find their way into Evan’s chair next? Also are there any styles that you like that I haven’t incorporated into a story yet?
This is my favourite series on this site hope to see more added to it soon.
@shave funny story, I just dropped the latest installment! Hope you like the continuation!
