Clara turned to Sana with that cruel, ordering tone still hanging in the air, her eyes narrowing like a predator spotting weakness. “Now, it’s your turn. Sit in the chair. And don’t make me repeat myself, you worthless little drudge. Or do you want the whole salon to see what a sniveling failure you are?”

Sana’s eyes widened in raw terror, her heart slamming against her ribs like a trapped animal. The salon air felt thicker, heavier, closing in around her as the other customers and staff paused their chatter, turning to stare with smirks and whispers. She stood frozen in the corner, hands still folded over her apron, the mirror finally set down but her arms burning from the strain. “My… my turn? Miss Clara, please,” Sana begged in a trembling whisper, her voice cracking with desperation. “This girl doesn’t need anything. Her hair is already short enough—please don’t cut more. It’s humiliating… this girl looks ugly enough already…”

Clara’s face twisted into a cold, mocking smile, her voice dripping with venom as she addressed the room, completely ignoring Sana’s plea. “Humiliating? Oh, please—that’s the whole point, you pathetic excuse for a human. You think anyone cares about your whining? You’re nothing but a lazy, ugly maid who can’t even follow simple orders without throwing a fit. Sit down now, or I’ll make sure everyone here knows what a disgusting, ungrateful worm you really are.”

The stylist, Lisa, exchanged a gleeful glance with Clara, her scissors glinting under the bright salon lights like a weapon. “Oh, this should be fun,” Lisa said loudly, her tone laced with sadistic delight, making sure the entire room heard. “The last one Clara brought in was a crybaby too, but this one’s even worse—look at her shaking like a scared rat. What’s her story, Clara? Another spoiled, brainless brat who thinks she’s too good for discipline? Bet she stinks of failure under that ridiculous uniform.”

Clara laughed sharply, still ignoring Sana as she chatted with Lisa and the receptionist, who leaned over the desk with a predatory grin, her eyes raking over Sana like she was trash. “Exactly. This sniveling idiot is the neighbor’s daughter—thinks she’s special because she used to have that ratty long hair, but Grandma’s breaking her down to be useful. She’s lazy, dumb, and ugly as sin. Start with a good wash first, Lisa—make her kneel for it. Then cape her up tight. We’ll see how she behaves.”

Sana hesitated, her face already a deep crimson, tears welling up as the weight of all the eyes on her crushed her spirit like a boot on an insect. A customer in the next chair, an older woman with perfectly styled hair, chuckled openly, her voice cutting through the air. “Look at her standing there like a dumb statue—poor ugly thing probably thought she was pretty once, with that mop on her head. Make her kneel like the dog she is; it’ll teach the little wretch some humility.” Another staff member, a young assistant sweeping nearby, added with a sneer, stepping closer to poke at Sana’s rollers mockingly. “Yeah, those rollers are bad enough, but with that maid outfit? She looks like a total clown, a walking joke. Wash her like a filthy animal—bet she’s too dumb to even hold still without splashing herself.”

The comments stung like whips, each one lashing at Sana’s crumbling self-worth, but she was ignored as if she were just an object to mock, the conversation flowing around her like she was worthless air. Clara turned back to her phone, scrolling casually with a bored sigh. “Hurry up and kneel, you idiot. Don’t waste our time with your pathetic existence.”

That was when Sana broke completely. The fear and shame boiled over into a full rebellious tantrum—she stomped her foot hard on the salon floor, her voice rising in a desperate, hysterical shout that echoed off the walls. “No! I won’t do it! You can’t make me kneel or wash my hair like this—it’s not fair! I’m not some ugly toy for you to humiliate! Stop treating me like dirt! I hate this—I hate all of you!” She twisted away from Lisa’s reaching hand, knocking a comb and spray bottle off the station in her flailing rage, her face twisted in anger and floods of tears. “You’re all cruel monsters! Leave me alone!”

The salon went dead silent for a split second, then exploded into cruel laughter from every corner—customers pointing, staff doubling over, the sound like daggers. “Oh, a little rebel freak!” one woman cackled from under a dryer hood, her voice booming. “Bet that ugly tantrum won’t last long—look at her face, red as a tomato, ugly as a toad!” Another customer, a middle-aged man waiting for his wife, joined in with a booming guffaw. “What a pathetic display—screaming like a spoiled piglet. Someone spank the brat already; she’s embarrassing herself more than the wash ever could.”

Clara set her phone down slowly, her expression turning icy and furious. She stepped forward in one fluid, dominating motion, grabbing Sana by the ear and twisting it viciously, harder than ever before, the pain shooting through Sana like lightning. Sana yelped in agony, doubling over as Clara yanked her close, forcing her to her knees in front of the basin. “You dare throw a fit here? In front of everyone, you disgusting little worm?” Clara hissed, her voice low but venomous, shaking with controlled rage. Without warning, she delivered a sharp slap across Sana’s cheek—crack—then another even harder, and a third that left Sana’s face throbbing and marked red. The slaps echoed in the salon, drawing cheers from the crowd. Sana’s tantrum crumbled instantly, her shouts turning to pitiful whimpers as she clutched her burning face, snot and tears mixing in humiliation.

Clara didn’t stop there. She leaned in even closer, her breath hot and spiteful against Sana’s ear, her grip on the ear unrelenting. “Remember the last punishment I gave you, you stupid, ugly crybaby? The one with the brush that left your fat bottom dark red and you bawling like the worthless infant you are? If you don’t submit right now—shut your mouth and kneel like the broken toy you are—I’ll do it again, right here on this floor, with every single person watching. Pull your skirt up myself, yank down those filthy panties, and spank you until you can’t sit for a month. Is that what you want, you embarrassing disgrace? In front of all these strangers laughing at your ugly face?”

Sana’s rebellion shattered under the terror—the vivid memory of that brutal, endless spanking flashed in her mind, the fire, the shame, the helplessness. And now, with this bigger crowd of mocking, jeering strangers? The thought crushed her spirit completely. Her body went limp, tears streaming in rivers as she nodded frantically, her voice a broken sob. “N-no, Miss Clara… this girl is sorry… she’ll submit… please, not here…”

Clara released her ear with a shove that kept Sana on her knees, her tone dripping with disgust. “Good. Kneel there and take it, you pathetic slug. And as soon as we get home, you’ll be punished properly for the embarrassment you just caused me here. Grandma will hear every detail of your disgusting outburst, and you’ll wish you’d never opened that ugly mouth.”

Sana stayed on her knees, defeated and sobbing uncontrollably, as Lisa handed her the heavy basin filled with water. “Hold this steady, you clumsy fool,” Lisa ordered, positioning it under Sana’s head. “And don’t spill a drop—or we’ll make you lick it up.” The customers and staff didn’t spare her—the older woman suggested loudly, her voice full of glee, “Splash her good—make the ugly wretch even wetter and more miserable.” The assistant chimed in, “Yeah, she deserves it for that tantrum—look at her kneeling like the dog she is.”

Lisa began removing the smaller rollers roughly, yanking without mercy, pins clattering into the basin and splashing water up onto Sana’s uniform. Sana winced with each tug, her scalp burning, but she held the basin steady, knees aching on the hard floor. Once the hair was free, Lisa tilted Sana’s head down and started the wash—pouring hot, soapy water over her shorter locks, scrubbing harshly with fingers that dug in like claws. Water splashed everywhere, soaking Sana’s uniform front, dripping down her face mixed with her tears, making the fabric cling coldly. “Feel that, you sniveling idiot?” Lisa taunted, rubbing soap into her eyes on “accident.” “All that grime washing away—just like your dignity. Cry harder; it makes you look even more pathetic.”

Clara ignored Sana’s heaving sobs, chatting with the receptionist over her shoulder as if the girl on her knees didn’t exist. “She’s always like this—whiny, useless, and disgusting. Thinks she’s human when she’s just a walking embarrassment.” The receptionist nodded, laughing cruelly. “Totally. Bet she cries herself to sleep every night, hating her ugly reflection. Good thing you’re fixing her—make her scrub the floor next for that mess she’s making.”

With the wash done, Lisa yanked Sana up by the arm and shoved her into the chair, snapping the cape around her neck so tightly it pinched her skin. “Sit still, you worthless crybaby,” Lisa muttered, combing the wet hair roughly. The staff added insults freely: “Neck all exposed now—perfect for a collar, like the animal she is,” the assistant jeered.

But then Clara stepped forward, her voice calm but filled with mocking triumph. “Wait, Lisa. Stop.” She looked at Sana in the mirror, a smirk spreading. “This was just a test—to see if you’d learned to submit without a fight. And you failed miserably, you stupid girl. No haircut today. Get up, grab the stuff, and let’s go. But remember—punishment waits at home for your little show.”

Sana stood shakily, face burning with fresh shame, uniform soaked and clinging, as the salon erupted in more laughter. “What a fool—crying over nothing!” a customer called. She gathered the bags and purse, following Clara out, the wind chilling her wet clothes on the street.

Back home, Clara burst through the door in anger, calling out, “Grandma! Come here—and bring that idiot girl!” Sana trailed in, heart pounding, as Mrs. Whitmore and her group of old ladies—Margaret, Helen, and Dorothy—looked up from the lounge, teacups in hand.

Mrs. Whitmore rose calmly. “What happened, dear?”

Clara launched into the story, not caring about the audience, her voice sharp and insulting. “This worthless wretch threw another tantrum at the salon—stomping, shouting, knocking things over like a wild animal! In front of everyone! She embarrassed me, screaming that we’re all monsters. The stupid, ugly crybaby couldn’t even kneel for a simple wash without making a scene. Water everywhere, her uniform soaked like the pathetic mess she is. It was just a test to see if she’d submit—and she failed spectacularly, the ungrateful slug!”

The old ladies chuckled, adding their own barbs. “What a disgrace,” Margaret said. “Cut her rations for that.”

As Clara finished, Mrs. Whitmore asked calmly, knowing Clara’s style, “What should we do for this behavior, dear?”

Sana stood there, already scared and humiliated, her wet uniform dripping, getting more terrified of what cruel punishment Clara would demand next.

Clara’s face lit up with a cruel grin. “I’ll handle it. Right now.” She turned to Sana, who was already trembling, her heart pounding with fear. “Stand over there, you pathetic slug. Legs apart.”

Sana obeyed slowly, her knees weak, spreading her feet shoulder-width as the ladies watched with quiet chuckles. “Wider, you idiot,” Clara snapped, her voice sharp and commanding. Sana spread them more, feeling even more exposed and ridiculous in her soaked uniform, the water still dripping from her hair.

“Now bend down. Touch the floor with your palms. Keep your legs straight, like the obedient little worm you should be.”

Sana leaned forward, her tight corset digging painfully into her ribs as she stretched down, her palms pressing flat against the cold wooden floor. Her bottom stuck up high in the air, vulnerable and on full display. The old ladies murmured approvingly, their teacups clinking softly. “That’s how you teach them proper respect,” Helen said with a smirk. “Look at her shaking already—what a sorry sight.”

Clara stepped behind her without a word, lifting Sana’s damp skirt and tucking it firmly into the apron belt, exposing her panty-covered hips to the room. Then, with a quick, brutal yank, she grabbed the waistband of Sana’s faded, worn panties and pulled hard—stretching the thin fabric up in a vicious wedgie. The material dug deep into Sana’s skin, wedging tightly between her cheeks and causing sharp, burning pain in her vagina and anus. Clara didn’t stop; she pulled it higher, over Sana’s back, until the stretched panties reached her roller-covered head. She hooked them firmly over the top of the rollers, using the stiff coils to hold them in place like a makeshift anchor. The pressure pushed the rollers down harder onto Sana’s scalp, adding a new layer of throbbing ache to her head, while the wedgie pulled everything taut and agonizing.

Sana cried out immediately, the pain like fire ripping through her private areas, her head feeling like it was being crushed. Tears streamed down her face as she stayed bent over, humiliated beyond words, her exposed bottom now distorted and pulled tight by the wedgie. The ladies laughed softly, their voices filled with mocking delight. “Look at that—red as a beet already, and we haven’t even started,” Dorothy joked. “Serves the little brat right for her tantrum.”

Clara walked calmly to the display shelf in the lounge, where a flat wooden spanking paddle sat innocently among other showpieces—old vases, small figurines, and decorative plates. She picked it up casually, as if selecting a spoon for tea, and returned, swinging it lightly. “For every stroke,” Clara ordered coldly, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction, “you thank me and apologize. Say: ‘This girl is sorry for being a stupid, ugly failure. Thank you for correcting her, Miss Clara.’ And add a new insult to yourself each time—like the worthless nothing you are. If you mess up or mumble, we start over from the beginning.”

Sana whimpered, her voice shaky and broken from the pain. “Y-yes, Miss Clara…”

Clara teased her first, tapping the paddle lightly against Sana’s stretched, exposed skin, making her flinch. “Ready, you worthless crybaby? Or do you want more time to think about how dumb and ugly you are? Maybe I’ll let the ladies suggest insults for you.” Sana stayed silent, sobbing quietly, her palms sweating against the floor.

The first strike came suddenly—hard and without warning—crack—landing squarely across her hips. The pain exploded like a hot wave, making Sana yelp loudly.

“This girl is sorry for being a stupid, ugly failure. Thank you for correcting her, Miss Clara. This girl is a lazy idiot,” Sana gasped out, her voice loud as ordered, echoing in the room.

Clara laughed mockingly. “Good. But louder next time, so everyone hears what a complete joke you are. Maybe add how disgusting you look right now.”

She waited randomly—ten long seconds, then just five—keeping Sana tense and guessing, her body trembling in anticipation. The next hit came low and unexpected—crack—jolting her forward slightly.

Sana gasped, fresh tears falling. “This girl is sorry for being a stupid, ugly failure. Thank you for correcting her, Miss Clara. This girl is a whining brat.”

The pattern continued with no rhythm, just sudden, painful surprises that left Sana unprepared each time. Clara teased between strikes: “Bet that stings, doesn’t it, you disgusting slug? Cry more—it’s the only thing you’re good at, you sniveling mess.” Crack—high this time. “Think about the salon—everyone laughing at your ugly, pathetic face while you threw your little fit.” Crack—across the same spot, overlapping for extra burn.

Sana’s self-insults grew harsher with each one, forced out through her sobs in a humiliated chant: “This girl is a pathetic worm… This girl is a useless mess… This girl is an embarrassing fool… This girl is a disgusting failure…” The paddle left angry red marks that swelled quickly, the skin puffing up and turning dark red, throbbing with every heartbeat. The ladies added their own comments, sipping tea like it was entertainment. “Hit harder, dear—she deserves it for being such a rude little thing,” Margaret suggested.

Finally, after what felt like endless strikes, Clara stopped, setting the paddle aside with a satisfied sigh. Sana’s hips were now dark red and very swollen, the skin hot and tender, every movement sending fresh waves of pain. “Up,” Clara commanded. “Kneel over there—on the raw rice grains.” She pointed to a spot on the floor where a handful of uncooked rice grains had been scattered deliberately.

Sana straightened slowly, her body aching from the bent position, and moved to kneel on the grains. The sharp points dug into her knees like tiny needles, piercing her skin and adding a new, grinding pain that made her whimper. Clara slid the stretched panties off her head but left them wedged in place. “Don’t fix them, you don’t deserve any relief, you ugly crybaby.”

Then Clara caped Sana tightly with a large plain cloth from a nearby drawer, tying it around her neck so snugly it pinched her skin and made breathing a little harder. She yanked off the rollers roughly, one by one, ignoring Sana’s winces and the way her scalp burned from the pull, pins scattering across the floor like discarded trash.

Water came next—cold and sprayed heavily from a bottle Clara grabbed—until Sana’s shoulder-length hair was completely soaked, water dripping down her face, neck, and into the cape, pooling at her knees. The ladies watched with interest, Dorothy commenting, “Look at her dripping like a wet rag—fits her perfectly.”

Clara picked up a pair of sharp scissors from the same drawer, her face set in anger as she started cutting. “None of this would have happened if you’d obeyed quietly in the salon, you stupid girl,” she scolded, her voice sharp and unrelenting. “But no—you had to throw your disgusting tantrum, embarrass me like the worthless, ugly brat you are. Now you’ll pay with every snip.”

She began at the back, gathering a section of the wet hair and cutting it straight across to chin length, the scissors closing with a clean snip-snip, hair falling in heavy, damp clumps onto the cape and floor. She worked around the sides and front methodically, creating a blunt bob that hung evenly just at Sana’s chin, framing her tear-streaked face in a plain, unflattering way. The weight lifted slightly, but the shortness made Sana feel even more stripped. Clara held up a hand mirror forcefully. “See? This would have been your cut if you were good—just a simple, boring bob. Plain and dull, like you.”

Sana stared in the mirror, her eyes wide with shock, trying to understand the new, shorter look through her blurry tears, but Clara didn’t give her time—she grabbed another section and cut again, higher this time, to mid-ear length. The scissors moved faster now, snipping away inches with each pass, creating a hamlet bob that curved slightly inward at the ends, stopping bluntly halfway up her ears. More hair piled up, the sound of the blades like a constant reminder of her failure. “Now look,” Clara said, shoving the mirror closer. “Shorter because of your stupidity. A mid-ear bob—makes your face look even rounder and stupider, doesn’t it? But you earned this with your whining.”

Sana tried to process it, her mind spinning from the pain and humiliation, small silent sobs escaping as tears rolled down her cheeks. But Clara placed a plastic bowl upside-down on her head, positioning it just where the bangs would end, high up on her forehead. “Hold still, you ugly mess—don’t move or I’ll make it worse.” With the bowl as a guide, Clara started cutting again along its rim—snip by snip—shortening everything even more. The hair fell in thicker bunches now, the top flattening out into a straight, severe line high above Sana’s eyebrows, the sides curving like a mushroom cap over her ears. The length was now much shorter overall, barely brushing the tops of her ears at the sides, making her head look small and childish.

Clara removed the bowl and held up the mirror one last time. “There—your new bowl cut. Flat, ridiculous, and perfect for a failure like you. No more hiding behind hair; now everyone sees how plain and worthless you are.”

Sana’s small sobs turned to open crying, her hands twitching under the cape to touch her head, but Clara slapped them down. “Don’t you dare—keep them inside, you idiot!”

She pushed Sana’s head down until her chin touched her chest. “Stay like that, face down—you don’t deserve to see.” Clara grabbed clippers from the drawer, buzzing them on with a loud hum. Starting at the nape, she shaved below the bowl line—buzz, buzz—removing all the hair from the back and sides in wide strips, leaving short stubble that felt rough and exposed. The vibration rattled through Sana’s skull, hair falling away like dust.

When done, Clara mixed shaving cream in a small bowl, the foamy lather cold and thick as she applied it to the buzzed sections—a messy, humiliating layer that dripped down Sana’s neck. Then the razor came, scraping slowly and steadily—scratch, scratch—shaving until the skin was completely smooth, pink, and sensitive, gleaming under the light. “Bald and bare,” Clara muttered. “Just like your brain—empty and useless.”

When it was over, Clara stepped back, removing the cape. “There—now you’re even uglier. No time off. Continue your schedule. Work and serve us, you pathetic failure. Start by refilling our teas.”

Sana stood shakily, fixing her uniform as best she could with the wedgie still in place, and resumed her chores—cleaning the scattered hair and rice, serving fresh tea to the ladies with deep curtsies—her new haircut drawing fresh laughs and insults from them. “What a silly mushroom head,” Margaret teased. The pain in her knees, hips, and scalp was a constant, burning reminder as she worked without a single break, her day dragging on in endless humiliation.

Sana moved through the rest of the evening like a ghost in her own body, her every step a reminder of the day’s fresh torments. The wedgie still dug mercilessly into her skin, a constant, burning pull that made even the simplest movements—bending to wipe a surface, reaching to dust a shelf—feel like torture. Her knees throbbed from the raw rice grains, tiny punctures stinging with each shift of weight, and her newly shaved nape and sides felt unnaturally exposed, the air brushing against the smooth, sensitive skin like a mocking whisper. The bowl cut sat heavy on her head, flat and ridiculous, the straight edges framing her tear-streaked face in a way that made her look even smaller, even more insignificant.

She served the ladies their fresh tea with deep, trembling curtsies, her voice a whisper as she refilled cups and cleared plates. “This girl apologizes for any delay, ma’am,” she murmured each time, eyes fixed on the floor, swallowing the bile of humiliation as their laughter echoed around her. Margaret leaned back with a satisfied smirk. “What a pitiful sight—mushroom head and all. Keep her busy, Eleanor; idleness breeds rebellion in these types.” Helen nodded, adding, “And make sure she scrubs the floors on her hands and knees tomorrow. It’ll remind her of her place.” Dorothy chuckled softly. “Yes, crawling like the worm she is.”

Mrs. Whitmore dismissed the group soon after, her friends departing with warm goodbyes and final glances of amusement at Sana. Clara lingered only long enough to snap one last order: “Clean this lounge spotless before you even think of stopping, you ugly failure. And don’t touch that wedgie—leave it as a lesson.” Then she followed her grandmother upstairs, their footsteps fading into the quiet house.

Sana worked long into the night, the schedule unyielding even as exhaustion clawed at her. She swept the floors twice, mopped until they gleamed, dusted every corner and crevice, and organized the shelves with trembling hands. The corset squeezed her ribs relentlessly, making deep breaths impossible, while the wedgie twisted with every motion, a sharp, degrading ache that brought fresh tears to her eyes. The house was silent now, Mrs. Whitmore and Clara long asleep in their comfortable beds upstairs, but Sana pushed on, her body screaming for rest. It was past midnight when she finally finished, the lounge pristine, every item in its exact place. She straightened slowly, wincing at the pull on her sore hips, and dragged herself down to the basement.

The door to her small, windowless room clicked shut behind her, sealing her in the stale, dim space. The single bulb flickered weakly overhead as Sana collapsed onto the thin mattress, not even bothering to change out of her damp, wrinkled uniform. The sobs came immediately—loud, wrenching cries that echoed off the bare walls, her body shaking violently as she poured out her anguish to the empty air. “Why me? Why does it have to be like this?” she wailed, clutching the rough sheet to her chest. “The pain… the shame… I can’t take it anymore. They treat me like I’m nothing, like I’m not even human. The haircut, the wedgie, the paddle—it’s all so cruel! I just want it to stop!” Her voice broke into hiccuping gasps, tears soaking the pillow as she rocked back and forth, the rice-grain pricks on her knees throbbing in rhythm with her heartbreak.

As the sobs subsided into quieter whimpers, Sana’s mind turned to escape. She wiped her face with a shaking hand, staring at the low ceiling. “I could run away,” she whispered to herself. “Just slip out the door in the night, find somewhere safe.” But where? She had no other relatives in the city—no aunts, no cousins, no friends close enough to hide her. Her mother’s trip was far away, and without her phone or keys, she was trapped, penniless and alone. The neighborhood was quiet, but unfamiliar faces would spot her in the maid uniform, the bowl cut making her unmistakable. “They’d find me,” she muttered bitterly. “Or worse, I’d end up on the streets, even more humiliated.”

Then, unbidden, Clara’s words from earlier echoed in her mind: “None of this would have happened if you’d obeyed quietly.” Sana tried to shake it off, rolling onto her side with a wince, but the phrase looped relentlessly, taunting her. “Obey quietly… obey quietly…” It hit her like a cold wave—maybe that was the key. If she stopped fighting, stopped protesting, and just did exactly as they said, perhaps the humiliations would ease. The insults might soften, the punishments lessen. It had been sixteen days already—only fourteen left until her mother returned. “Just swallow my anger, my pride, my self-respect… for a few more days,” she thought, her chest tightening at the idea. “Let them do what they want without rebellion. Every time I’ve fought back—the tantrum at the salon, the protests before—it’s only made things worse. More pain, more degradation. If I’d knelt quietly for the wash, maybe they wouldn’t have shaved me, wouldn’t have paddled me so hard.”

She lay there, comparing the events in her mind: the first spanking over the towel, the cane for no undergarments, the brush for refusing the haircut. Each resistance had escalated the cruelty. “But if I obey… if I become the mindless maid they want… maybe it’ll calm down. No more surprises, no more tests.” The thought twisted her insides—surrendering everything, becoming nothing but a tool for their whims, no matter how degrading. Curtsying deeper, thanking them for corrections, enduring insults with a bowed head. “They’ll do it anyway,” she reasoned through the fog of pain and anger. “Better to obey than fight and suffer more.” Exhaustion finally pulled her under as she wrestled with it, her body curling into a tight ball on the uneven mattress, the wedgie still a cruel anchor to her shame.

The sharp ring of the bell jolted her awake at five, but Sana was already stirring, her internal clock honed by days of routine. She sat up quickly, wincing at the lingering aches—her hips still tender and swollen, knees raw, the shaved skin on her nape prickling in the cool air. The bowl cut hung limp and flat around her face, no longer needing rollers since Clara hadn’t instructed her to use them after the final shave. She smoothed the bed neatly, tucking every corner with precision, then opened the cupboard for her uniform. The faded undergarments stared back at her, worn and stained from previous maids, but she slipped them on without hesitation, the disgust a dull ache now. She buttoned the black dress, tied the white bib apron, and cinched the corset tight, forcing her posture straight despite the discomfort. No rollers today—her hair was too short for them anyway, the blunt edges brushing her ears like a constant mockery.

She climbed the stairs quietly and began her day per the schedule: cleaning the basement spotless, preparing breakfast—boiled eggs, toast, cucumber slices, black tea—and setting the table perfectly by six-thirty. Mrs. Whitmore descended first, her silver bun impeccable, followed shortly by Clara, who yawned lazily and took her seat. Sana served them silently, refilling cups and plates with careful movements, eyes lowered, hands steady despite the knots in her stomach. She had decided in the night: obey fully, no resistance. Swallow it all.

As they ate, Mrs. Whitmore set her fork down with a deliberate clink and looked at Sana standing against the wall. “Girl, after breakfast, report to the lounge. There needs to be some changes made in the rules, regulations, and schedule.”

Sana’s heart skipped, a flicker of dread mixing with her resolve, but she nodded without question. “Yes, Mrs. Whitmore,” she whispered respectfully, curtsying deeply. Inside, her mind raced—what new degradations awaited? But she pushed it down. Obey quietly. Just obey.

Sana finished clearing the breakfast table with quiet precision, curtsying deeply each time she approached or left the dining area, her movements automatic despite the lingering aches from yesterday’s torments. The bowl cut hung flat and blunt around her face, the shaved nape and sides still sensitive and exposed, a constant reminder of her diminished state. She wiped down the surfaces, washed the dishes until they gleamed, and put everything away in its exact place before heading to the lounge as instructed. Her resolve held like a fragile shield: obey without question, swallow every humiliation, and perhaps the storm would ease. She stood in the center of the room, eyes fixed on the floor, hands folded neatly over her apron, waiting in silence. The wedgie from last night had finally been allowed to be adjusted during her morning routine, but the memory of its pull lingered like a shadow.

Mrs. Whitmore entered first, her steps measured and authoritative, lowering herself into her throne-like armchair with the grace of someone in absolute control. Clara followed, flopping onto the sofa with a smug grin, her eyes scanning Sana like a predator assessing prey. They didn’t speak to her immediately, instead chatting idly about neighborhood gossip and Clara’s plans for the day, letting the minutes stretch deliberately to test Sana’s patience. Sana remained still, not fidgeting, her corset forcing her back ramrod straight, the faded undergarments chafing uncomfortably against her skin.

Finally, Mrs. Whitmore’s voice cut through the air, calm and unyielding. “Girl, kneel before us. Palms flat on the floor, forehead touching the ground in full prostration. Hold until I say otherwise.”

Sana obeyed instantly, dropping to her knees and bending forward until her forehead pressed against the cool wooden floor, her arms stretched out in front. The position was humiliating and straining, her bottom raised slightly, the shaved nape exposed like a mark of submission. She held it without a whimper, even as her knees protested against the hard surface.

Mrs. Whitmore pulled out a revised sheet of paper, her tone laced with quiet satisfaction. “Your outburst yesterday was a pathetic failure—a stain on this household that cannot be tolerated. We’ve refined your training to crush any lingering spark of defiance, ensuring you become nothing more than a mindless, obedient tool. No thoughts, no needs, no self—only service, no matter how degrading or exhausting. These changes will tighten our grip, making every moment a reminder of your weakness. Listen and absorb, girl.”

The new schedule was a brutal escalation, designed to break her body and spirit through endless, grueling labor. Wake time shifted to 4 AM sharp, with the bell now rigged to ring louder and longer if she didn’t rise immediately. The first hour: deep cleaning the entire basement on hands and knees, scrubbing floors with a small brush until her knuckles bled raw. Breakfast prep started at 5 AM, with added tasks like polishing all kitchen utensils by hand. Serve at 6 AM now, for both Mrs. Whitmore and Clara if she stayed over. Mornings expanded to include washing windows inside and out, climbing ladders despite the corset’s restriction, until 9 AM. Laundry every day now, not alternate—hand-washing delicates in cold water, hanging them to dry in the garden visible to neighbors. Garden work from 9 to 11 AM: weeding on all fours, trimming hedges with tiny shears for precision, and now scrubbing the outdoor paths with a bucket and sponge, knees grinding against gravel. Lunch prep at 11 AM, serve at noon, then cleanup until 1 PM. Afternoons: ironing every piece of clothing in the house from 1 to 3 PM, standing without breaks; organizing storage and dusting upstairs rooms (previously off-limits) from 3 to 5 PM, including crawling under beds to clean forgotten corners. If guests arrived, all tasks halted for immediate service, resuming double-time afterward. Evenings: dinner prep at 5:30 PM, serve at 6:30 PM. Post-dinner: foot massages for Mrs. Whitmore and Clara on demand, kneeling for up to an hour, rubbing with oils while they ignored her. Final chores until 10 PM: polishing silverware, mending clothes by hand, or reciting rules aloud while scrubbing toilets. Bed at 10:30 PM, lights out—no exceptions, with the door now locked from outside to prevent “wandering.”

Clara leaned forward with a wicked smile, adding her own twists. “And don’t think you get to slack off, you ugly mushroom-headed freak. We’ve added ‘endurance drills’—random times where you hold a heavy tray overhead for 15 minutes straight, or balance books on your head while walking laps around the house. Fail, and the whole day restarts.”

Mrs. Whitmore nodded approvingly, then moved to the rules and regulations, each one crafted to deepen Sana’s sense of vulnerability and powerlessness. “Speech restrictions tighten: You no longer address anyone by name unless delivering a direct message from another—refer to us only as ‘ma’am’ or ‘miss.’ For guests, use ‘honored guest’ or by title if known, but never names. Your waiting position changes—no more standing comfortably in the corner. Now, you kneel with knees wide apart, hands behind your head, elbows out, back arched. Hold it indefinitely; it will tire you, remind you of your discomfort and exposure.” Sana’s current prostration already mirrored this strain, her arms beginning to ache.

More piled on: “Serving position: No more standing upright. You serve on your knees, crawling between guests if needed, holding trays at chest level while balanced precariously. Curtsies evolve—you hold the deep curtsy position, knees bent low, head bowed, until acknowledged or explicitly told to rise. Even while answering questions or reciting, maintain the hold; let your legs burn as a lesson in endurance.” Clara chuckled. “And meals? No more eating standing like a person. You’ll eat scraps from a dog bowl on the floor, hands behind your back, face down like the animal you’ve proven to be. Lick it clean if we say.”

Uniform changes followed, making Sana even more uncomfortable and vulnerable: “The dress shortens—hem raised to mid-thigh, exposing more leg for ‘ease of movement’ but really to heighten your shame. Add a stiff, high collar that chafes your neck, and remove the blouse underneath; wear only the dress over undergarments for less protection. Stockings now, but thin and prone to runs, forcing constant fixes. And a small bell tied around your ankle—jingles with every step, announcing your presence like a pet.” Inspections ramped up: thrice daily now, including random spot-checks where she’d have to strip partially in front of them, proving obedience.

Additional degradations: “Bathroom use only twice a day, at set times—beg on your knees for permission otherwise. Sleep position: flat on your back, arms at sides, no turning; we’ll check via a new camera in your room. Gratitude ritual expands: Each night, kneel naked except for undergarments, list twenty humiliations you’re ‘grateful’ for, kissing the floor after each.” Clara suggested, “And random obedience tests—like making you bark thanks or crawl backward out of rooms. We’ll push you further, see if you crack.”

They weren’t aware of Sana’s internal strategy—her plan to obey perfectly to reduce punishments and humiliations. To them, this was about total domination, and they’d test her subtly: Clara might “forget” an order, waiting to see if Sana reminded her (a trap for speaking out of turn), or Mrs. Whitmore could command something absurd, like holding hot tea in her mouth without swallowing, probing for any flicker of resistance. “If you’re faking submission, girl,” Mrs. Whitmore warned calmly, “we’ll know—and the corrections will be endless.”

Sana listened from her prostrated position, repeating back every detail verbatim when commanded, her voice steady despite the inner dread. “This girl understands and will obey, ma’am.” Inside, terror swirled—this was worse than before, a vise tightening around her every breath—but she clung to her resolve: perfect obedience might blunt the edges, earn fewer tests. She rose only when told, curtsying deeply and holding until dismissed, legs already trembling.

The day plunged her into the new regime immediately. She crawled to the kitchen for chores, the bell jingling mockingly, knees grinding as she scrubbed. Mid-morning inspection: Clara tugged her shortened hem up, mocking the bowl cut (“Makes you look like a stupid boy-child”) and twisting her ear to “test focus.” Lunch service: On knees, crawling between them, holding the tray in an arched-back pose while they ate slowly. Eating: Scraps in a metal bowl on the floor, face buried, lapping like a dog as Clara filmed it “for review.” Afternoon endurance: Balancing books while ironing, dropping one earning a slap but no more—her flawless compliance noted subtly.

Over the next few days, the push intensified. Clara tested with fake leniency—offering a “break” that was a trap, commanding Sana to sit (forbidden), then punishing the hesitation with extra scrubbing. Mrs. Whitmore added verbal barbs during foot massages: “Feel that, worthless thing? Your hands exist only for this.” Humiliations varied: Serving guests (the old ladies returned) in the new curtsy-hold, legs quivering as they ignored her for minutes, or crawling to fetch items while they laughed at her jingling bell and exposed thighs. A tea party by day 20 invited more neighbors, Sana serving in her vulnerable uniform, holding trays on knees amid nonstop mockery (“What a obedient little freak—look at that haircut!”), reciting affirmations aloud when prompted. No slip-ups; her mind numbed further, self-respect eroding into mechanical routine. Punishments dipped—fewer physical corrections, more “rewards” of silence—but degradations mounted, testing if she’d break or if submission was real. Sana endured, unaware they doubted her, counting days to her mother’s return, a hollow shell forming around her spark of hope.
