Adding Images to Stories

Hi, wanted to ask a rather technical question with regards to using the text editor interface for posting stories. Does anyone if there’s a way to simply add an image to the body text of the story so that readers can just see it instead of having to put in hyperlinks that take you to wear the photo is? Been experimenting with wanting to add photos in stories as a way of giving more clarity (like how I did in some of my recent stories), and was wondering if there was just a more integrated way of having the photos with the story itself.

Hi, FizzyC. Awhile back … while writing stories for 1hss under the pen name of ‘Fantasy Girl’, I used a very simple method to accomplish adding photos to a few of my stories. Simply copy a photo off the internet, and then paste it exactly where you want it within your story. Pros: It’s quick, and simple. Cons: If the photos you’ve selected ever disappear off the internet where you originally found them, then they will disappear from your story as well. Caution: Of course, DO NOT copy photos from copyrighted websites! In my search for the perfect photos, I looked for amateur photos that were available from general searches on the internet that specifically displayed amateur photos by exhibitionistic real amateurs looking for a little public exposure. Pun intended.

Thank you so much for the advice! I actually didn’t think it was that simple and thought the wordpress editor wouldn’t exactly allow it, but I just tested it out on the editor and it seems to work. Really appreciate it!
