Chinese Language Posts

Hi everyone, you’ve probably noticed the posting of some Chinese language stories.

On the one hand this is great as it means there’s more content available to a wider audience. On the other hand it’s hard to moderate and is less open to the site’s current audience.

I’m in a mind to create a separate section for this content but this doesn’t get around the moderation issue.

Hi there, I am a fan from China. We actually have our own forum in China to post some stories. However, that forum usually deletes some contents involved the pornographic in the story(most of times it is not that much pornographic contents in the story, but they still delete it), so it affects us to read the whole story. One day one of the fan finds this website which will never delete any contents of the story. So some Chinese writters would like to post some stories here for us to read. Sorry about the concerns we brought. Maybe one day one of the writter could translate it into English to help you guys to read. Thanks a lot there.

Thanks for your reply admsthor. It’s great that you’ve found this site and enjoy using it.

As we’re dealing with the written word there’s a bit of leeway in what content is allowed however there is a line that we shouldn’t cross. With the stories written in Chinese it’s very difficult to tell whether there is content that isn’t acceptable.

I suppose having a moderator who could read Chinese and check these stories would be one solution.
