TheInvisibleManParticipantI’d really like to see more activity on the forum—more discussions, debates, and people sharing their opinions. So please, write down all your thoughts about the use of AI when creating stories for this website.
I don’t want to end up talking to myself, so I’ll share my own opinion a bit later. For now, I’ll outline the key points I’d like to discuss:
1. AI translation. Is it worth translating a story if you can’t write it in English yourself?
2. If you wrote a passage yourself, but AI produced a better version of it, which version should you use?
3. Can you really tell which parts were written by AI and which were not? (Personally, I can often identify not only that AI was used, but even which AI model wrote it—and it’s quite amusing when a respected author denies using it.)
4. Once AI-generated texts become impossible to distinguish from human-written ones, what should opponents of AI-generated content do?
5. Can AI be put to work for people—for example, by evaluating the quality of submitted texts?
6. Are AI-generated illustrations a blessing or a curse? If the text itself has literary value, but the author still wants to illustrate it using AI, how should that be handled? - AuthorPosts
