I understand this may be to complicated to implement & maybe it’s not practical but I know a lot of other improvements & changes were done recently. It might be nice if there was some way for an author to know who is liking & viewing their story. Maybe there is & I am just unaware. I think it would interesting “research” for an author to know who is liking & reading their stories. Is it the same people or a cross section of the community? For those that write multi-part stories are the same people liking their stories or are they different? Also, maybe some kind of alert, on stories so readers don’t miss new installments?

I don’t know, maybe it’s just me or I am in a minority but I’ve always been curious about this ever since I started on here. It would be just a small insight to know what readers are actually thinking & while I would imagine many on here write for themselves they also enjoy feedback & what others think.

I often don’t log in when I’m just reading, so my liking/viewing activity would mostly be anonymous. Many readers don’t even have profiles.

Even just knowing that is helpful, though. Personally, I have this site always open in it’s own window & always stay logged in. I actually have to LOG OUT & then Log back in to post stories, unless there’s some other way to do it I don’t know about, but again, I acknowledge that may just be me.
