I posted my first new story i have written in years today. My question is the part two of that series I am working on has very no haircutting and only some hair play (brushing, hairpulling and washing). I am well aware that this is a haircutting story site. I understand that this chapter of my series may be boring to some readers/members. I dont think adding a haircut just for the sake of it will add anything to this chapter. Part Two will have important development between the two characters of my story. However, I think if I combined part two and three it would be too long compared to normal story length posted here. So, my question is if it would be alright to post my part two of the series even if has no haircutting?
Thanks,

Indeed I skip quickly over stories that are nothing but line after line of describing haircuts in the most boring language imaginable.

(I mean, it’s not like you’d get in trouble by any means; it’s just a matter of whether readers would get annoyed.)
I have on story (Setting the Terms) that was a prelude to another and didn’t feature a full cut of its own (I wanted to set the stage for a hair bet made regarding the Super Bowl, and didn’t have time to write a full cut scene), but I had one of the recurring characters get a new style to kind of set things off despite not being the focus of the piece. Just be ready for it to get fewer likes than usual and so forth.
So, my advice would be to throw in a few teases — characters playing with their hair as they talk, thoughts about how pretty it is or what someone else might think if it were cut, that sort of thing.

I think I generally get more likes on the parts *with* haircutting, but I certainly don’t see a problem with it.
