This site is been dominated by writers that love bald heads and shaving. That’s not what haircutting is about. And some stories have a very long intro where it all goes about boring life things that have noting to do with haircuts. Just write about haircuts please. No shaving and bald head serums. Please write more about cutting hair. The special moment of caping. The locks that slide over the cape. And the special feeling of the chair and hairdresser that wispers in your ear.

We all have different likes and dislikes. This is the hair story network, not the haircutting story network. It is not solely focused on a single narrow aspect. Obviously if a story is completely off topic, it doesn’t belong here, but shaving hair or removing it by some other means is still about hair.

I’m with you. I want something that feels like hair left on the head, but my personal taste doesn’t dictate the entire site.

Just check the tags on stories before you start reading them. It helps to get to know which authors tend to write about cuts instead of shaving. Just off the top of my head, I don’t think anyone has ever gotten shaved in any of Klaatu or Fizzy’s stories. I know for certain no shaving happens in F35H’s stories. And there are many others.

I feel like I should note there is shaving in my story “Valentine’s Weekend,” but I think that’s the only one. However, I do specialize in long lead-ins to build up what kind of sacrifice/dramatic change is being made by the subject of the makeover, otherwise the act itself doesn’t have much of an impact for me.

But I second Ginger’s suggestion — become familiar with particular authors, and follow their stuff. Writers here tend to have their lanes and stick to them pretty regularly.

Just because you don’t like headshaving videos doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be posted. This site isnt just for haircuts. ITS HAIR STORY NETWORK. Just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be posted. You don’t get to decide what is allowed and not.
