“Red Bob” Continues to Accumulate Many Likes in a Short Period

Redbob, I can manually lower counts. I have been reluctant to because I have no way to know what your actual like count should be.

I will just reset it for you, since obviously the glitch is a much bigger issue for you than not keeping however many likes were actually from people. I’m also kind of curious to see whether it will accumulate at a normal pace after I lower it, or if tomorrow it will just jump back up to crazy levels.

Sorry about this, but there seems to have been an update to WordPress, and I have lost the way I used to be able to change the like count. Not just for Red Bob, I can’t on any stories anymore. Possibly there is a way for me to that I don’t know, but the interface has changed.

I don’t know if this has anything to do with the glitch.

Even more strange is that sometimes it seems to have over 1,700 likes and other times only a bit over 100. I think which link I follow to the story is the determining factor.

Ginger Herton, I took down the original part 2 story (the one with the 1700 likes), and reposted it again as a new story. Mainly because it looked ridiculous to have had more likes than views, and also that I wouldn’t receive any further remarks from the likes of ‘justadude’ for something that I have no control over.
