Varsha was a young, strict tuition teacher in Delhi, balancing her recently completed degree with teaching students for extra income. She had a no-nonsense attitude when it came to studies, but deep inside, she harbored a secret dream—to be on TV. The group roped in Rohan’s elder brother, who owned a small local studio. With camera setups, flashy lights, and a fake production team, they created a convincing environment. Then came the fake call—a staged conversation that Varsha “accidentally” overheard while teaching.
“Madam, we’re looking for fresh new faces for a reality show. But the contestants must be bold enough for a complete transformation.” Varsha’s ears perked up. She casually asked, “What transformation?”

Varsha froze for a moment. But then, the thought of being on TV, fame, and breaking barriers took over. “If that’s what it takes, then why not?” she told herself. “Where do I sign up?” she asked, trying to sound casual but clearly too eager.
The students, barely holding their laughter, exchanged glances. She had fallen for it. The next day, Varsha arrived at the “audition studio,” wearing her best kurti and neatly tied hair. A fake makeup artist (Aditi in disguise) greeted her.
Cameras rolled, fake stylists fussed around her, making her feel like a true star. As she sat down, Rohan, pretending to be a celebrity stylist, picked up a pair of scissors and said dramatically, “Ma’am, we will begin your bold makeover now.”

Aditi, still in character, said, “Wah ma’am, you’re looking so bold! The industry will love you!” Varsha tried to smile, but her hands unconsciously touched her smooth head, her fingers gliding over the soft skin where her hair once was.
What have I done? But she forced a grin. “So… when will the audition results be out?” she asked. The students looked at each other and quickly changed the topic.
