This is my personal favorite story and will be my last story for a while. Thank you for reading!

Sophia was a young woman who had always held conservative values. She believed in traditional gender roles, supported right-wing political candidates, and was fiercely protective of her personal freedoms. So when she received an invitation from her aunt to spend a month with her in the summer, Sophia was hesitant. She knew that her aunt was a liberal who held views that were very different from her own, and she wasn’t sure if she would be able to tolerate such a prolonged stay in an environment that was so different from what she was used to.
Despite her reservations, Sophia decided to take a chance and accept her aunt’s invitation. She packed her bags and headed off to her aunt’s house, determined to make the most of her visit.
Sophia’s aunt was a tall, slender woman with short, stylish hair that was dyed a bright shade of pink. She had multiple piercings in her ears and nose, and she wore colorful tattoos on her arms and legs. She was always impeccably dressed, with a love for bold patterns and bright colors. Despite her age, Sophia’s aunt had an energy and enthusiasm that belied her years, and she was always eager to try new things and explore new ideas. She was described by others as a kind and compassionate woman, with a heart that was full of love.
When Sophia entered the house, she was annoyed when her aunt told her she wouldn’t need shoes or socks in the summer heat. She had always been used to wearing closed-toe shoes and socks, and the idea of going barefoot at home and wearing flip flops outside made her feel vulnerable and exposed.
“Don’t be such a stick in the mud, Sophia. It’s summertime and it’s hot outside. You’ll be more comfortable without shoes and socks, trust me.”
Sophia sighed and reluctantly slipped off her shoes and socks. She wiggled her toes and marveled at how the floor felt against her bare feet.
As the days went on, Sophia began to get used to the feeling of the comfy floor beneath her feet and the freedom of wearing flip flops outside.
A few days after, Sophia’s aunt, while scrolling through her internet history on the family computer, was horrified to discover that Sophia had been visiting fringe conspiracy websites holding right-wing views. Determined to protect Sophia from harmful ideologies, the aunt began to filter and monitor her internet usage, both on the computer and on her phone, only allowing her to access “normal, liberal” websites. Sophia wasn’t aware she was doing this as blocked pages would just load forever and she figured the sites were having issues or they must have been taken down from the internet. Despite her initial frustration, Sophia eventually stopped trying to access the blocked websites.
While Sophia was showering, the aunt took the opportunity to snoop on her phone and improve her social media algorithm by blocking conservative accounts to prevent them from appearing in her feed.
As she scrolled through her social media feed, she noticed that she was seeing fewer and fewer posts from accounts that held conservative views. She assumed that the platforms were just updating their algorithms and didn’t think much of it. Despite feeling uneasy about the sudden changes in her social media feeds, Sophia was too lazy to do anything about it. She figured that it would take too much effort to try to change the algorithm or find alternative platforms, so she just continued to scroll through her feed as usual.
The aunt hoped that Sophia would continue to be unaware of the efforts she was taking to shape Sophia’s worldview.
As days passed, she encouraged Sophia to watch Netflix with the family, suggesting that they watch documentaries and films that explored social justice issues and promoted progressive values.
Sophia rolled her eyes while watching, thinking that the films were preachy and one-sided. However, she did have to admit that they made a few good points.
As a surprise, she also gifted Sophia an Apple News+ subscription and a personal Netflix subscription, that she could use on her own.
Sophia wasn’t particularly thrilled about these gifts. She had heard mixed things about Apple News+ and wasn’t sure if she would enjoy reading the news on there. Similarly, Sophia found the content on Netflix often too biased. However, Sophia didn’t want to hurt her aunt’s feelings, so she decided to give these platforms a try and show her appreciation for the gifts.
Over time, Sophia found that it was much more convenient to get her news and entertainment from these platforms, and she began to rely on them more and more.
The aunt’s efforts to shape Sophia’s media consumption paid off. As Sophia became more and more dependent on Apple News+ and Netflix, she found herself increasingly exposed to media that aligned with her aunt’s liberal values. The changed social media feeds also had a big impact. Sophia was quite sure that her aunt had no influence on her, she attributed these changes in her beliefs to her own increased knowledge and understanding of the world.
The aunt was also determined to shape Sophia’s diet. Despite the fact that Sophia had always been a carnivore, the aunt began to introduce more vegan options into her meals. At first, she made small changes, such as replacing meat with plant-based protein sources in some meals. As the weeks went on, she gradually increased the proportion of vegan options in Sophia’s diet, until Sophia was eating a fully vegan diet. It also helped that the new media she consumed also promoted veganism as healthy, making the persuasion easier.
Sophia developed a strong craving for sweets. She found herself constantly snacking on vegan cookies, cakes, and other sugary treats, and she became increasingly reliant on these treats to satisfy her cravings.
To Sophia’s surprise, she found that she enjoyed the vegan diet and even began to put on some weight. She felt happier and healthier than ever before.
The big haircut day [Sophia’s POV]
I was lounging on my bed in my room, flipping through Netflix shows, when I heard a knock at the front door. I assumed it was just a delivery or something, so I didn’t think much of it. But a few minutes later, my aunt came into my room and announced that the hairdresser had arrived.
“The hairdresser?” I repeated, confused. “What are you talking about?”
“I’m fed up with you having long hair all the time,” she said, giving me a stern look. “It’s time for a change. So I called a hairdresser to come over and give you a haircut.”
I was shocked and a little scared. I had always had long hair, and I wasn’t sure what she meant by “change” or if I was ready for it. But my aunt was insistent, so I reluctantly followed her downstairs to meet the hairdresser.
As soon as I saw her, I knew I was in trouble. She was a tall, confident woman with short, spiky hair and an air of dominance about her. She was dressed in all black, with a pair of long shears hanging from her belt.
“This is Sophia,” my aunt said, introducing me to the hairdresser. “Sophia, this is Charli. She’s going to give you a haircut.”
Charli smiled at me, her eyes glinting with mischief. “I’m looking forward to it,” she said, her voice dripping with seduction.
I swallowed nervously, feeling a mix of fear and excitement. I had a feeling that this wasn’t going to be your average haircut.
“Don’t worry, Sophia,” my aunt said, patting me on the shoulder as she left the room to go to the kitchen. “Charli is a professional. She’ll give you a nice, big trim, and you’ll look and feel fabulous.”
I nodded, still feeling a little nervous.
As soon as my aunt was gone, Charli sat me down in a chair. She draped a cape around me and picked up a pair of clippers.
“So, what are we thinking today?” she asked, eyeing me up and down.
I hesitated, not sure what to say. “Just a trim, I guess,” I finally mumbled.
Charli chuckled. “Oh no, sweetie, I think we can do something a little more daring,” she said, turning on the clippers with a loud buzz.
Without warning, she was running the clippers up the back of my head, shearing off my long hair with ease. I gasped as I felt the cool metal against my scalp, scared as my hair fell away in clumps. Charli worked quickly and expertly, buzzing the sides and back of my head until it was almost completely shaved. However, I had no idea what kind of haircut she was giving me, and with no mirrors in the room, I was completely in the dark. The only thing I could see was some long strands of hair lying on the floor. I couldn’t help but feel a surge of anxiety.
As she finished up, she looked at me with a sly smile. “Now for the top,” she said, picking
up the shears. I tried to protest as I felt it was getting too short, but it was too late. Charli had already started cutting, and there was no turning back. She grabbed a handful of my remaining hair and slowly, deliberately, began to cut it off. I closed my eyes, feeling a mixture of fear and submissiveness as the shears snipped through the strands of hair.
When Charli was finished, I opened my eyes and went to look at myself in the mirror. My hair was almost non-existent, barely visible against my scalp. I must admit I looked amazing, with a bold and stylish buzzcut.
“What the hell, Charli?” I exclaimed, trying to hide my excitement.
Charli just chuckled and shrugged. “I knew you’d love it,” she said, her voice dripping with confidence. “Besides, sometimes it’s fun to be a little daring and try something new. And look at you now, you look amazing!”
Despite my initial anger, I couldn’t help but feel a secret thrill at being submissive to such a dominant hairdresser. I grudgingly thanked Charli and paid her for the cut, trying to play it cool, but secretly loving my new look. Besides, I saw a lot of girls with short hair on Netflix, so I didn’t think it was that uncommon anymore, as many girls now did it anyways. And I couldn’t lie, the summer heat made the long hair I previously had extremely uncomfortable.
As I was admiring my haircut, my aunt walked into the room. “Oh my goodness, Sophia!” she exclaimed, faking surprise. “I had no idea you were going to get such a short haircut. I thought you were just getting a nice big trim!”
“Yeah, well, I guess Charli had other ideas,” I said, secretly still thrilled about it.
My aunt chuckled and walked over to give me a hug. “You look wonderful, sweetie,” she said, beaming with pride. “I’m so glad you took a chance and tried something new.”
—
Slowly but surely, Sophia found herself looking forward to the weekly ritual of having her hair ‘trimmed’ with clippers and styled by Charli.
What was originally supposed to be a one month visit, ended up being a whole year.
Sophia continued to live with her aunt, slowly but surely forgetting all of her right-wing views and embracing a more liberal and progressive mindset. She had undergone a complete transformation. She even started drinking wine and became more passionate about issues like climate change.
[Aunt’s POV]
I recently suggested to Sophia that she dye her hair bright colors or get piercings and tattoos, however, she continued to be hesitant about any further body modifications.
So one night, I had an idea, and I decided to take matters into my own hands.
I convinced Sophia to have a few drinks with me. As she became more and more intoxicated, I slipped a sleeping pill into her drink. When she was unconscious, I quickly got to work. I dyed her hair bright pink and pierced her nose. I also hired a tattoo artist to give her a butterfly tattoo on her back.
[Sophia’s POV]
As I woke up and walked into the bathroom, I was shocked by what I saw in the mirror. My buzzed hair, which had always been a plain brown color, was now a bright shade of pink. My nose now had a piercing, something I had never wanted before. I couldn’t believe what had happened. I walked over to my aunt’s room and confronted her, demanding to know what was going on.
“Sophia, calm down,” my aunt said soothingly. “You asked me to do all of this last night. You wanted to change your appearance and have some fun. We were both a little drunk, and you probably don’t remember agreeing to it. But trust me, you were fully awake and you wanted to do it.”
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Had I really asked for all of this? I couldn’t remember anything from the previous night.
“Look, I know you’re confused and angry right now,” my aunt continued. “But I promise you, I would never take advantage of you or manipulate you. I just want you to be happy and make your own choices. And if changing your appearance makes you happy, then I’m happy for you.”
I wasn’t sure what to think. Part of me was still angry and confused, but another part of me was actually excited about the changes. I had to admit, the new buzzed dyed hair and piercings looked pretty badass. Maybe it was my own idea all along, I thought to myself.
Back Home
Sophia returned home from her extended visit with her aunt feeling like a new person. She had embraced a vegan lifestyle, abandoned her conservative views, undergone several body modifications including dyeing her hair, getting tattoos and piercings, and even embraced a new radical haircut. But as she walked through the doors of her childhood home, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of dread. She knew that her family would not be happy with the changes she had undergone, and she wasn’t sure how they would react.
Sophia’s parents were both conservative, traditional people who valued hard work and discipline. They had always supported right-wing candidates and believed in traditional gender roles.
As Sophia approached the front door walking with her flip flops, she could see her parents’ shocked expressions as they took in her new appearance.
“Sophia, what happened to you?” her mother asked, her voice laced with concern.
“I’ve changed a lot over the past year, Mom. I discovered a lot of new things about myself and the world around me. I’ve become vegan! And my aunt gave me the freedom to explore these things and be myself. I’m happier than I’ve ever been before” Sophia replied confidently.
Her father narrowed his eyes. “Your aunt has always been a bit of a radical. I hope she hasn’t influenced you too much.”
Sophia shook her head. “No, Dad. I’ve come to these beliefs on my own. I would never allow my aunt or anyone else control me. The only thing she forced on me was wearing these ugly flip flops, which annoyed me a bit but honestly I’ve gotten used to them.”
Her parents looked at each other, unsure of how to react. They had always raised Sophia to hold traditional values, but they also knew that Sophia was an adult now, and they couldn’t control her every decision. They would have to accept the changes in their daughter and hope for the best.
Sophia was convinced that her parents could benefit from the same kind of growth and enlightenment that she had experienced, and she was determined to help them see things her way.
Over the next few weeks, Sophia used a variety of tactics to try to manipulate her parents into embracing her values. She bombarded them with information about social justice issues, pointing out the flaws in their conservative beliefs and highlighting the ways in which their views were harmful to others. She showed them documentaries and films that promoted progressive values, and she introduced them to entertainment and news sources that challenged their assumptions.
Sophia worked to convince her parents to stop consuming conservative media. She showed them how (according to Sophia) biased and narrow-minded these sources were. She convinced her parents to switch to more progressive sources of news and entertainment, and monitored their media consumption to make sure they were sticking to her rules.
Sophia didn’t stop there – she also convinced her parents to go vegan. She argued that a plant-based diet was healthier and more environmentally friendly, and she showed them documentaries and articles that supported her argument. Again, her parents were hesitant – they had always been meat-eaters and were worried about getting enough protein. But Sophia was persistent, and she convinced them to give veganism a try.
Sophia also wanted to convince her parents to get buzzcuts, just like hers. She thought that a buzzcut would be cooler and more practical in the summer heat, and she thought out that it would be a fun change for them.
Sophia knew that her parents would never agree to a buzzcut if she asked them outright, so she came up with a plan.
She secretly ordered a haircut appointment for a buzzcut on an online website for a no-talk salon. She didn’t tell her parents that it was a no-talk salon – she just told them that they were going to the salon for a trim or anything else they liked, it was a gift from her to them.
When the day of the appointment arrived, Sophia’s parents were excited to get their haircuts. They had always enjoyed going to the salon, and they were looking forward to getting pampered. They had no idea that Sophia had arranged for them to get buzzcuts.
As they sat in the salon chairs, Sophia’s parents tried to chat with the stylists and discuss the haircuts they wanted. However, the stylists didn’t say a word – they just nodded and went to work, following the instructions that Sophia had left on the online appointment form.
Sophia’s parents were surprised when the stylists started to buzz their hair off. They had expected a trim, not a buzzcut. But it was too late – the stylists had already started buzzing their hair and Sophia’s parents were left with short, buzzed hair, just like Sophia’s.
Sophia’s parents were angry with Sophia. They felt violated and betrayed, and they accused her of tricking them into getting haircuts that they didn’t want. But as the days went on, they began to like their new haircuts. They found that the buzzcuts were cooler and more practical in the summer heat, and they enjoyed the fun feeling that came with them. They even started to compliment Sophia on her haircut, and they admitted that they were glad they had taken the risk and tried something new.
Sophia’s efforts were successful. Her parents were transformed – they were now vegan, had buzzcuts, and consumed only progressive media. And they seemed to be grateful to Sophia for helping them to see the world in a new way.
Great story but the political element seems off putting. I am not conservative or liberal and find such things to be off putting in a haircut story. I understand it’s your story, your rules, but I can’t deny my opinion.
Thank you,
Tolsty
Completely understand! Which parts exactly were off putting? The media consumption or the veganism?
Thanks for the feedback
I enjoyed this story. I personally don’t mind politics but I do appreciate how you included a way for people who do mind the ability to access just the hair cutting part.
The first part was alright. However, I think you should have left the parents out of the story.
Interesting story. I understand the “why” as a huge fan of corruption/slutification, you need a blank canvas, and theoretically an innocent conservative is perfect for a corruptive transformation. (Ideally a sunday school teacher, or librarian archetype.)
I think i would have liked to hear more about the makeover after the aunt got her her first tattoo. Did she get more tattoos? Piercings? Why? Then, Why did she want to makeover her parents?
