This is a sequel to Friday

The Return to Alexandra’s

Chris sat in the backseat of the car, staring out the window as they pulled onto Alexandra’s Street. His stomach twisted with a mix of unease and something else—something he wasn’t ready to name. Two weeks had passed since his last visit here, and he hadn’t been able to shake the memory of Alexandra’s whispered words. Not today, sweetheart. But in two weeks? I’m shaving you bald.

And now here they were. Two weeks later. On his 18th birthday.

Beside him, Maria crossed her arms, staring ahead with an expression that was hard to read. She hadn’t spoken much since they got into the car, but Chris could tell she wasn’t happy about being back here.

In the driver’s seat, Katerina, looking effortlessly elegant as always, tapped her manicured nails against the steering wheel as she pulled into Alexandra’s driveway. She was in a surprisingly good mood, practically glowing.

“This is going to be fun,” she mused, adjusting her sunglasses as she turned off the car. “I can’t wait to see what Alexandra has in store for me.”

Maria scoffed but didn’t say anything. Chris, however, swallowed hard.

The three of them stepped out of the car and walked toward the salon door. As soon as Alexandra opened it, her striking blue eyes landed on Katerina first, then flickered to Chris. She smirked.

“Well, well, look who’s back.”

Chris tensed under her gaze.

“I was starting to wonder if you’d show.” Alexandra’s tone was playful, but there was a knowing glint in her eyes.

Katerina let out a small laugh, running a hand through her slightly overgrown bob. “Oh, please. Like I would miss an appointment with you.” She stepped past Alexandra into the salon, sighing. “The last cut was a hit. My husband absolutely loved it.”

Alexandra arched an eyebrow, shutting the door behind them. “Oh?”

“In more ways than you’d expect,” Katerina teased, flashing a mischievous grin.

Chris stiffened. Maria made a disgusted noise. “God, Mom, seriously?”

Katerina ignored her.

Alexandra chuckled, then tilted her head. “Well, if you trust me, I have an idea for something even better. Something bolder. More exciting.”

Chris felt his stomach drop.

Katerina barely hesitated. “Go for it.”

Maria’s mouth fell open. “Wait, what? You’re just letting her do whatever?”

Katerina smirked. “Of course. I trust Alexandra.”

Alexandra gestured to the chair, patting the back of it invitingly. “Then take a seat, darling.”

As Katerina settled in, Alexandra’s fingers moved expertly through her hair, assessing it, planning. Chris watched with trepidation, recalling the way Alexandra had looked at him during his last haircut. He could feel her gaze on him even now, every so often, subtle and knowing.

Maria noticed it too. She narrowed her eyes, watching Alexandra through the mirror. She didn’t like this.

Chris sat stiffly as Alexandra picked up her clippers and snapped on a guard. The moment the low hum filled the room, his breath hitched.

This is really happening.

Alexandra started with Katerina’s undercut, fading it in tighter, sharpening the contrast. Then, without hesitation, she picked up her shears and began chopping the length of Katerina’s bob, shaping it into a sleek side-parted pixie cut, no more than three inches left on top.

Katerina’s expression was pleased, almost exhilarated, as Alexandra worked. “I love it already,” she murmured.

“I knew you would,” Alexandra replied smoothly.

Chris swallowed, his nerves growing stronger. He knew his turn was coming soon.

And from the way Alexandra kept looking at him in the mirror—she knew he knew it too.

Maria’s Quiet Rebellion

Maria sat on the couch, arms crossed tightly over her chest, watching Alexandra through narrowed eyes. She had barely spoken since they arrived, but the tension in her body was undeniable. She hated being here again.

Alexandra dusted off Katerina’s new pixie cut, looking satisfied. “Perfect,” she said smoothly. “Sharp. Chic. I told you it would suit you.”

Katerina ran a hand through the short layers, admiring her reflection. “I feel incredible.”

Maria rolled her eyes. “Glad someone does.”

Katerina ignored her, turning to Alexandra. “Maria’s next.”

Maria’s stomach clenched. She had been dreading this. But refusing outright was not an option—not after what happened last time.

Alexandra smiled sweetly. “Come on, darling. Let’s clean up that grow-out.”

Maria reluctantly got up, moving toward the chair. As she sat down, she made sure to keep her expression blank. But the moment Alexandra fastened the cape around her, Maria leaned in and whispered, just loud enough for her to hear.

“I know what you’re doing.”

Alexandra didn’t flinch. “Do you?” she murmured back, adjusting the cape.

Maria’s jaw tightened. “I know how you played along with my mom last time. How you just let her force me into that stupid buzzcut.”

Alexandra arched an eyebrow. “Sweetheart, I was just doing my job.”

Maria glared at her. “Bullshit. You could’ve told her no.”

Alexandra chuckled softly. “And risk upsetting your mother? I think not.” She picked up her comb and ran it through Maria’s short hair. “Besides,” she added, voice dripping with amusement, “you deserve it.”

Maria’s hands clenched under the cape. “I’m onto you,” she hissed. “And I don’t like how you manipulate Chris, either.”

That got Alexandra’s attention. She paused for half a second before smiling, her gaze flickering toward Chris, who sat tensely in the waiting area.

“Oh, darling,” she murmured, lowering her voice so only Maria could hear. “You’re jealous, aren’t you?”

Maria’s face flushed. “What? No.”

“Mm-hmm,” Alexandra mused, brushing a hand over the top of Maria’s head. “You don’t like the way Chris looks at me, do you?”

Maria turned rigid. She hated that Alexandra was right.

Alexandra leaned in, her lips barely moving as she whispered, “Well, since you don’t like your short hair, I suppose Chris won’t be paying much attention to you.”

Maria scoffed, her jaw tightening. “Chris isn’t like that.”

Alexandra’s smirk widened slightly. “Are you sure? Has he seemed more interested in you since your haircut?”

Maria started to retort, but before she could process the question, Katerina’s phone buzzed loudly, cutting through the tension.

Just then, Katerina’s phone buzzed loudly, cutting through the tension. She picked it up, listening for a moment before sighing. “We must go. Now.”

Maria inhaled sharply. She was free.

She bolted out of the chair.

But before she could celebrate her escape, Alexandra spoke smoothly—to Katerina.

“You and Maria can go,” she said. “I’ll bring Chris home after.”

Maria spun around. “Wait, what?”

A Sudden Escape

Maria’s heart raced as she stared at Alexandra, processing what she had just said.

“You and Maria can go,” Alexandra repeated, her voice smooth and confident. “I’ll bring Chris home after.”

Maria’s stomach twisted. She had been so close to escaping another haircut, and now Alexandra was trying to keep Chris behind. She knew something wasn’t right.

Maria snapped her gaze to Chris, expecting him to react, to say something—anything. But he hesitated, his expression flickering between uncertainty and something else she couldn’t quite place.

Before he could speak, Alexandra cut in.

“He’ll be fine,” she said, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. “Won’t you, Chris?”

Chris swallowed, glancing at Alexandra, then back at Maria. He felt like a deer caught in headlights. He didn’t want to stay. But… he also did. And Alexandra knew it.

Maria’s eyes darted to Katerina. “Mom, no. Chris should come with us.”

Katerina raised a brow, her fingers still scrolling on her phone as she responded absently, “Chris is an adult. If he wants to stay for his haircut, he can.”

Maria’s breath hitched. “But—”

Katerina sighed, already walking toward the door. “We don’t have time for this. Chris, you’re fine here, yes?”

Chris felt the weight of Alexandra’s gaze, the way she stood so calmly behind him, waiting for his answer.

A long moment stretched. Then—he nodded.

Maria’s jaw tightened. She didn’t like this. She didn’t like this at all. But before she could argue further, Katerina was already out the door.

Maria hesitated, giving Chris one last warning look before reluctantly following her mother.

The door clicked shut behind them.

Silence.

Chris’s breath shuddered as he slowly turned back toward the mirror.

Alexandra was still watching him, a slow, knowing smile curving her lips.

“Well then,” she murmured, stepping forward, reaching for the cape.

“Let’s get started.”

Alexandra’s Gift

Chris sat frozen in the chair as Alexandra fastened the cape snugly around his neck. The air in the salon felt heavier, charged with something unspoken. She smoothed her hands over his shoulders, her nails lightly grazing the fabric.

“Relax, sweetheart,” she murmured. “You knew this was coming.”

Chris swallowed hard. No guard. He had never gone this short before. The low hum of the clippers filled the room, vibrating against his scalp as Alexandra tilted his head forward with a gentle but firm touch.

Then—the first pass.

The clippers glided over the top of his head, peeling away his remaining hair in smooth, deliberate strokes. Strips of dark curls tumbled down the cape, gathering in his lap and on the floor.

Alexandra worked methodically, erasing every trace of length, ensuring his scalp was completely exposed. She moved to the sides, pressing her palm lightly against his temple to guide his head as the blades scraped him down to the skin.

Chris shivered as the cool air touched his freshly sheared scalp. His breath hitched when Alexandra ran her fingers over his bare skin, checking for any rough patches.

“There we go,” she whispered, brushing away loose clippings. “Now, let’s make you truly smooth.”

Before Chris could react, Alexandra retrieved a hot towel and pressed it firmly against his head. The sudden warmth sent a wave of sensation through him, his scalp tingling as the heat seeped into his skin. She held it there for a moment, letting the pores open, softening him up for the next step.

When she finally pulled the towel away, she shook a can of shaving cream, smirking as she met his gaze in the mirror.

“You’re going to love this,” she murmured, lathering up her hands.

Chris bit his lip as Alexandra smoothed the rich, warm lather over his head, massaging it in slow, circular motions. His scalp tingled under her fingertips, the scent of the shaving cream filling the air.

Then came the razor.

With expert precision, Alexandra placed a hand on top of his head and stretched the skin taut before gliding the straight razor across his scalp. The blade moved effortlessly, stripping away the final shadow of hair, revealing perfectly smooth skin.

Chris’s fingers twitched beneath the cape. Every stroke sent a new rush of sensation through him, leaving his scalp completely bare.

Once she had made a full pass, Alexandra took another towel, wiping away any lingering foam. Then—she re-lathered him.

Chris exhaled sharply as her hands worked over his head again, this time even slower.

“Can’t have any rough spots,” Alexandra purred, reaching for the razor again. “Let’s make sure you’re flawless.”

The second shave was even more precise, the razor gliding against his skin with featherlight pressure. When she finally finished, she wiped his head clean and reached for the aftershave.

Chris hissed softly as the cool liquid splashed over his scalp, sending a fresh sting across his newly exposed skin. Alexandra chuckled, rubbing it in gently before reaching for a small bottle of baby oil.

“This will give you that perfect shine,” she said, massaging the oil into his scalp, rubbing it in slow, circular motions.

Chris stared at his reflection, his skin now gleaming under the salon lights. His breath was unsteady, his mind swirling.

Alexandra stood behind him, admiring her work before leaning down, her lips grazing his ear. “Happy birthday, sweetheart.”

A Different Kind of Birthday Present

Chris sat motionless, his scalp tingling under the warm glow of the salon lights. He was bare, gleaming, exposed—every trace of hair removed, his skin smooth and polished. His chest rose and fell in uneven breaths, his fingers twitching beneath the cape as the lingering sensation of the blade’s final pass buzzed through him.

Alexandra took a step back, her eyes dark with satisfaction. “Absolutely flawless,” she murmured, running her fingers lightly over the slick, oiled surface of his scalp. Chris shivered at her touch.

She lingered for a moment, her fingertips tracing lazy circles over his bare skin, before finally reaching for the cape. With a slow, practiced flick, she pulled it away, letting it slide from his shoulders. The sensation of air hitting his fully shaved scalp sent another shiver down his spine.

Chris swallowed hard as he watched her in the mirror.

Alexandra took a deliberate step closer, her hands brushing over his shoulders. Then, in a slow, fluid motion, she leaned in, her lips pressing softly against his newly shaved scalp.

Chris froze.

Her lips trailed lower, featherlight and teasing, until they reached his ear. She exhaled warmly, her breath sending a ripple of sensation through him.

“Such a good boy for me,” she whispered.

Chris’s entire body locked up. His breath hitched; his hands clenched into the chair’s armrests. The room suddenly felt suffocatingly small.

Alexandra pulled back slightly, her lips curling into a knowing smirk as she met his wide, uncertain gaze in the mirror. Her expression was playful, but beneath it was something darker.

“Tell me, birthday boy…” she murmured, her fingers trailing slowly down his chest. “Do you like your bald head?”

Chris’s throat went dry. His mind screamed at him to **stand up, move, say something—anything—**but his body refused to listen. He was trapped in the moment, in the heat of her presence.

Alexandra didn’t wait for an answer.

She sank onto her knees in front of him, her hands sliding with deliberate slowness to his thighs. Chris felt a wave of heat flood through him, his fingers gripping the chair even tighter as she reached for his belt.

With a slow, calculated motion, she unzipped his pants.

Chris’s breath came out shaky, uneven. His head spun, his ultra-smooth scalp still tingling as he stared down at Alexandra’s hungry, knowing smirk.

She looked up at him through half-lidded eyes, her fingers tracing along the waistband of his pants as she whispered—

“Happy birthday, Chris. Shall I start with your actual present?”

To be continued…
