Part two of Madison part 2: Julia’s Barbershop Cut

The Morning After

The morning after their haircuts, Julia woke up nestled in Madison’s arms. Tentatively, she reached up to touch the ends of her newly short bob, her fingers brushing the awkward, blunt line. A soft sigh escaped her lips. She had really gone through with it. Her hair was now a short, blunt bob with a buzzed nape. What would her friends say? Did it look good? Meanwhile, one thought stood out the most: How long would it be until Madison took her to the barber again?

Madison stirred beside her, a groggy smile spreading across her face as she looked at Julia. “Morning,” she murmured, pulling Julia close. “Do you like your haircut?” she asked, her voice soft but curious.

Julia hesitated, her eyes filled with a mixture of excitement and apprehension. “I… I do, but I was hoping for something else, something…”

Madison’s eyebrows raised in interest. “Oh? Something shorter?”

Julia bit her lip, the desire she had suppressed bubbling to the surface. “Yes.”

Madison’s eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief. “Patience,” she said, teasingly. “Enjoy the discomfort for now. It’ll make the next cut even more special.”

Julia swallowed hard, the words sinking deep. The discomfort was real, but so was the thrill. She was transformed, and she loved every agonizing, exhilarating moment of it.

Adjusting to the New Look

In the days that followed, Julia gradually grew accustomed to her new haircut; however, she couldn’t shake the feeling that the blunt bob wasn’t quite right. Some people loved it, complimenting her on the bold change. Meanwhile, others were shocked, their reactions a mix of surprise and confusion. Julia couldn’t help but think, just you wait.

One evening, while they were lounging on the couch, Madison turned to Julia, a playful glint in her eyes. “I’ve been thinking,” she said, her tone casual yet filled with hidden intent.

Julia’s heart skipped a beat. “Oh? About what?”

Madison leaned in closer, her voice dropping to a whisper. “How about I give you bangs?”

Julia’s heart raced at the suggestion; nevertheless, she couldn’t let Madison know how eager she was. “Bangs? Are you serious? I don’t know, Madi. What if they look awful?”

Madison chuckled, but was already guiding her into the bathroom, her resolve unshakable. “Come on, let’s do it now. You know you want to.”

Bangs

In the bright light of the bathroom, Julia watched in the mirror as Madison combed a section of her hair forward, separating the strands that would become her new bangs.

Madison combed through Julia’s hair, pulling a section forward to create the bangs. Just as Julia began to voice her second thoughts, Madison moved swiftly. Before Julia could stop her, the scissors snipped through her hair. Strands fell to the floor, and Madison stepped away, revealing Julia’s reflection.

Julia stared at her reflection, her heart pounding. She reached up, her fingers trembling as they touched the newly shorn fringe. A gasp escaped her lips, not of horror, but of delight.

Madison watched her reaction closely, her smile growing wider. “Well? What do you think?”

Julia turned to Madison, her eyes shining with excitement. “I love them,” she admitted, unable to hide her joy.

Madison grinned, wrapping her arms around Julia. “I knew you would.”

Second Visit to the Barbershop

For a week, Julia lived in a state of simmering anticipation. Each day with her new bangs felt like a prelude to something even more radical. She loved the assertiveness in Madison’s eyes whenever she looked at her, sensing that she had plans.

One evening, Madison approached Julia with a mysterious smile. “I’ve planned a special date for us,” she said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Julia’s heart skipped a beat, her curiosity piqued.

Madison took Julia to a different barbershop, this one run by a woman, Ruth, with an edgy style and a no-nonsense demeanor.

Madison took Julia’s hand and led her to one of the chairs. “Give her a very short Caesar cut, with closely cropped sides,” she instructed, her tone leaving no room for negotiation.

Julia’s eyes widened in shock. “Madi, wait,” she began, her voice trembling. “That’s way too short. It’s so masc, so severe. I—”

“You’ll thank me later,” Madison whispered, a teasing smile on her lips.

Julia was about to try and negotiate when without any warning, the barber pushed her head to one side and started buzzing. Julia gasped, her eyes widening in stunned disbelief. The sensation of the clippers against her scalp was jarring, and she couldn’t help but flinch as the barber worked with swift, unrelenting precision. The rough treatment was unexpectedly thrilling, and Julia found herself surrendering to the experience.

This wasn’t what Julia expected or wanted, but that’s what made it so perfect. She knew she was going to hate it, that it was going to be too short, and the thought of how embarrassing it would be almost brought her to tears.

Ruth continued, pushing Julia’s chin into her chest to buzz the back of her head. Thick locks of her hair fell to the floor, the pile growing larger with each pass of the clippers. Soon, the sides and back of Julia’s head were reduced to almost nothing.

When Ruth finally moved to the top, Julia’s nerves spiked again. She combed Julia’s bangs forward, and with a few swift snips, cut them significantly shorter, creating a blunt, heavy line. Julia’s heart raced as she watched her hair fall in front of her eyes, the transformation happening faster than she could process. She almost started to cry because the bluntness of the bangs felt too harsh, too exposing.

Julia met Madison’s eyes in the mirror, and saw support and desire. Madison’s gaze melted away her panic, replacing it with a strange sense of calm. Julia took a deep breath, steadied by Madison’s unwavering confidence in her.

Lisa didn’t pause, moving seamlessly from the bangs to the top of Julia’s head. She combed the remaining hair straight up, the tension in the strands palpable. With practiced precision, the scissors continued their rhythmic snipping, reducing the length bit by bit. The once-thick and voluminous hair was being reduced to a short, flat androgynous look. Julia watched the end result slowly come into focus, a mix of shock and reluctant acceptance in her eyes. The cut was much shorter and more masculine than she had wanted, but the unexpected severity of it stirred something deep within her.

The Reveal

When the barber finally finished, Julia was left with an ultra-short Caesar cut. She stared at her reflection in stunned silence. Her breath came in short gasps as the reality of her new appearance began to sink in. The blunt, short bangs and the closely cropped sides left her looking almost unrecognizable. She felt a surge of mixed emotions: shock, embarrassment, excitement, and a strange sense of liberation. She hated it, and yet, she couldn’t deny how different and transformative it felt.

Madison stepped closer, fingers trailing up to Julia’s nape, grazing the freshly buzzed skin. The sensation was electric, a mix of shock and pleasure that made Julia’s heart pound.

She leaned down to kiss the top of Julia’s head. Julia loved the sensation of Madison’s lips against her short hair. “You look incredible,” she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. “I knew this would suit you.”

Julia reached up to touch the short, blunt bangs, a smile slowly spreading across her face. Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment at how severe and boyish the cut was but she couldn’t help but smile through her lingering shock because the way Madison looked at her made her feel stunning. The touch of Madison’s hands, the way they roamed over her freshly cut hair, was intoxicating. It made her feel cherished and desired in a way she had never felt before.

“It’s so different,” she said, her voice trembling slightly. “I didn’t think I would like it, but… I do.”

Madison took her hand, her eyes shining with pride. “Let’s go,” she said, her voice low and enticing.

Rushing Home

As they walked home from the barbershop, Madison kept her arm draped over Julia’s shoulders, her fingers occasionally brushing against the short hairs at the nape of Julia’s neck.

Madison glanced sideways at Julia, a playful smirk tugging at her lips. “You know,” she began, her voice laced with teasing, “those bangs are a little dorky.”

Julia felt a rush of self-consciousness, her fingers instinctively moving to smooth down the bangs. “Dorky? You really think so?” she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

Madison laughed softly “Relax, they’re cute in a boyish sort of way.” she teased, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

Julia’s cheeks burned with a deep shade of red. Boyish? The word echoed in her mind, filling her with a mix of humiliation and delight. Madison seemed to sense Julia’s turmoil, and she reveled in it. “You’re blushing,” she observed, her voice softening. “Does that embarrass you?”

Julia nodded, her eyes downcast. “A little,” she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. She loved the feeling of being teased by Madison, of the shame and discomfort that came with it. “But… I kind of like it.”

The Mirror

When they returned to Madison’s apartment, the air was thick with anticipation. Julia couldn’t help but laugh, her joy and excitement spilling over as she pulled Madison closer, relishing the new sensation.

But Madison stopped her, a serious look in her eyes. She took Julia by the hand and led her to the full-length mirror, forcing her to confront her transformed appearance. “Look at yourself,” she commanded, her voice firm but with an undercurrent of tenderness.

Julia’s eyes widened as she caught sight of her reflection. Her Caesar cut made her look starkly different. The short blunt bangs did make her look dorky, yet incredibly bold, unlike anything she had ever imagined for herself.

Madison’s eyes never left Julia’s as she asked, “Do you like it?”

Julia whimpered, her voice barely above a whisper. “It’s too short,” she admitted, her eyes welling with tears. “I don’t know if I can face the world like this.”

Madison smiled, a glint of satisfaction in her eyes. “Good,” she replied. “I wanted you to feel the way I felt the first time I saw my short hair—exposed, vulnerable.” She moved closer, her breath warm against Julia’s neck. “And you wanted that too, didn’t you?”

Julia’s eyes welled with tears, and she nodded slowly, her eyes locked on the mirror. The sight of her severe Caesar cut next to Madison’s crew cut was both surreal and intensely arousing. She felt a deep, thrilling sense of submission. She was smitten with Madison’s control, the way she had orchestrated everything. The loss of all her hair, the surrender of her autonomy, the shame of having to face the world so drastically changed was exhilarating.

“I can’t wait to take you out tomorrow night and see everyone’s reactions.”

“Go out like this?” Julia asked, her voice betraying her nerves.

Madison laughed softly, pulling Julia closer. “How else?” she teased. “You’re stuck with this for a while.” Her words were matter-of-fact, but there was a playful glint in her eyes.

Julia’s pulse quickened. There was no going back, no way to hide it or change it immediately. The realization that this harsh, androgynous style was now her actual haircut was both thrilling and terrifying.

Another Look at Madison

Then she turned her gaze to Madison’s reflection, noticing the Madison’s crew cut, a big change to the long hair she had once had. It suited her, but Julia could sense a lingering self-consciousness in Madison’s eyes.

Feeling a surge of boldness, Julia turned slightly, her gaze shifting to Madison’s reflection. “What about you?” she asked softly, her voice filled with warmth. “Have you really looked at yourself?”

Madison’s eyes widened slightly, her confident facade momentarily slipping. She had almost forgotten about her own transformation in the excitement of Julia’s. Madison stared at her reflection, a small frown forming on her lips. The crew cut was still startling to her, a drastic change from the hair she had once taken for granted. The reminder of her drastic change made her feel exposed and unsure. She looked down, a rare moment of vulnerability washing over her.

Julia’s hand gently guided Madison’s chin upward, forcing her to meet her own gaze in the mirror. “You’re beautiful, Madi” Julia said firmly, her voice filled with conviction. Madison was taken aback, her eyes meeting Julia’s in the mirror. She experienced a confusing mix of discomfort and disbelief, struggling to fully accept the compliment.

But Julia grabbed Madison’s chin, and kissed her softly, keeping her eyes open to watch their reflection. The sight of the two women with their drastic barbershop haircuts, sharing a moment of vulnerability and intimacy, was mesmerizing.

Madison’s heart pounded as she kissed Julia back, her self-consciousness melting away under Julia’s touch. As their lips parted, a small, genuine smile formed on Madison’s  lips. “You really think so?” she asked softly, her voice tinged with uncertainty.

Julia nodded, her eyes never leaving the mirror. “I do,” she replied, her voice filled with warmth and assurance. Madison’s smile widened, the warmth in Julia’s words dispelling her self-doubt.

Next Steps

A mischievous glint appeared in Julia’s eyes as she pulled back slightly. “So, when are you getting your next haircut?” she asked, her tone playful.

Madison blushed hard, her cheeks flushing a deep shade of red. “I… I hadn’t thought about that,” she stammered. “Should I let it grow out or keep it buzzed for a while?”

Julia’s smile widened, and she teased her gently. “I don’t think you should worry about that,” she said, her voice dripping with playful authority. “I’ll decide for you.”

Madison’s eyes widened in surprise, but she felt a thrill at the thought of Julia taking control. She perked up, her heart racing with excitement at the idea of surrendering control to Julia.

“Okay,” she said, her voice filled with determination. “I think I’d like that.”

Julia grinned, her eyes gleaming with mischief. “Good. Because I have some ideas,” she said, her tone promising more thrilling transformations to come.
