Part 1 LinK: Snehal Headshave After Marriage Part 1

Three years had gone by since the fateful day when I had to shave my long waist length hair at Karthik’s native place for his family tradition. Looking in the mirror, I couldn’t help but smile as I admired my hair, which had grown back to a luscious mid-back length.

On a peaceful evening, just as the sun began to set, my phone buzzed with an incoming call. Glancing at the screen, I saw it was my mother-in-law, Curiosity piqued, I answered the call, eager to hear what she had to say.
“Hello,Amma,” I greeted her warmly.
“Hello, my dear,” she replied, her voice filled with excitement. “I have some wonderful news to share with you and Karthik, but I don’t want to discuss it over the phone. Could you both come to Chennai? There’s something special I want to tell you.”

Surprised and intrigued, I felt a flutter of anticipation in my chest. Amma was always full of surprises, and her enthusiasm was infectious. “Of course, we’ll come,” I replied, unable to hide the excitement in my voice. “When would you like us to be there?”
“Could you come this weekend?” she asked, her voice tinged with urgency. “I don’t want to keep you waiting too long. It’s something you’ll want to hear right away.”

“We’ll make the arrangements right away,” I assured her. We’ll be there soon.”

We quickly made the necessary arrangements, booking our flights and packing our bags. The next few days passed in a blur of anticipation and excitement. As we boarded the plane to Chennai, I couldn’t help but wonder what news awaited us.

As we arrived at Chennai Airport, I feels a mix of excitement and anticipation. It has been a while since we have last visited Chenna,as we make our way towards the baggage claim area, we notices vijay anna, Karthik’s Elder brother standing near the exit, waving enthusiastically.
I tugs at Karthik’s arm. “Look, Karthik! vijay anna is here is here to pick us up.”
We hurry towards vijay anna , who greets us with a warm smile. “Welcome back, Snehal and Karthik! I hope you had a pleasant journey.”
Karthik hugs vijay anna tightly. “Thank you, vijay anna. It’s wonderful to be here again. How have you been?”
vijay anna chuckles. “Oh, I’ve been busy as always, but seeing you both makes my day. Now, let’s not waste any more time. Amma and Ashwini is waiting at home.

vijay anna leads us towards his car, chatting animatedly as we walk. ” , We are thrilled to have you both here.”
I was curious about news amma wanted to share , so i can’t resist asking, “vijay anna, what’s the special occasion? Amma mentioned something about good news.”
vijay anna grins mischievously. “Ah, you’ll find out soon enough. It’s something that will bring immense joy to all of us.”
The car ride to our home was filled with laughter and catching up on the events of the past months. As we reached parking of the house we step out of the car , The front door swings open, and Amma along with Ashwini anni, stands at the entrance, eagerly awaiting for our arrival.”Welcome home, Snehal and Karthik!” Amma exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

“It’s so good to have you and Karthik here. Go freshen up, my dear, and then come to the hall. Ashwini is preparing tea for all of us. I have some wonderful news to share with you both.”I nodded eagerly, unable to contain my curiosity any longer. We quickly went to our room. As i entered the room, all familiar memories of the room came.we quickly freshened up, Changed our clothes and left our room as we made our way to the hall, the aroma of brewing tea wafting through the air.Ashwini anni, was busily preparing the tea.
“Snehal!” Ashwini anni called out with a radiant smile, setting aside the teapot and walking over to me. .”Good to see you, Ashwini anni,” I replied, returning the smile.

Once everyone had settled down in the cozy hall, Snehal’s heart raced with anticipation. The room was abuzz with excitement, the air electric with the promise of good news. I sat beside Karthik, with our hands intertwined, sharing in the unspoken anticipation.Amma stood at the centar of the room, her voice filled with pride and delight. “I have wonderful news to share with all of you. Vivek, our youngest son, is getting married!”
Cheers erupted from the family, their voices mingling with laughter and expressions of congratulations. we joined in the jubilation, my face was beaming with joy for Vivek and the new chapter in his life.Amma’s words continued, weaving a tale of romance and union. “Vivek’s bride-to-be is a beautiful girl named Aarti. They have found love, and their wedding will be a month from now.”

But the revelation that followed was unexpected, sending shockwaves through me. Amma’s voice grew more solemn as she continued, “In accordance with our family tradition, after Vivek’s wedding, we will be visiting Tirumala temple,my eyes widened, as my mind processing the words slowly. Amma had told of this tradition before, but it had slipped from my memory. As Amma’s words sank in, a mix of emotions washed over me.As you all know, it has been our custom for generations for all the family members, including our daughter-in-laws, to undergo a head shave as an offering of devotion and gratitude to god.

My heart skipped a beat.I instinctively reached up and touched my long, lustrous hair, which i had proudly grown back over the past three years. The realisation hit me like a wave crashing upon the shore — i would have to part with my cherished locks once again.
As i processed the news, a wave of conflicting emotions rushed through me. On one hand, i understood and respected the importance of tradition and family rituals. On the other hand, the thought of losing my hair once more stirred up a sense of attachment and apprehension.

My heart pounding with a mix of apprehension and curiosity i asked. “Amma,” “I understand the tradition and the significance of getting our heads tonsured in tirumala. But I was wondering if Aarti, Vivek’s bride-to-be, is also ready for this ritual?”Amma looked at me with a gentle smile, her eyes filled with understanding. “Snehal, I appreciate your concern. Before sharing the news with all of you, I spoke to Aarti about our family tradition, including the ritual of head tonsuring. She is aware and has agreed to participate in the tradition.”
Amma continued, her voice soft and assuring. “I understand that this might be a challenging decision for you, especially since you have just grown your hair back after your previous tonsuring. However, I wanted to discuss it with you well in advance since Vivek and Aarti will be returning to the US after the wedding. This visit to the temple and the ritual can be done right after their marriage, ensuring it is convenient for everyone.”

I felt a mix of anxiety and confusion, unsure of how to react. As the family dispersed I quietly excused myself and made my way back to my room.Inside,I closed the door behind, seeking solace and a moment of reflection. Thoughts swirled in my mind, and my heart raced with apprehension.i couldn’t help but worry about losing my long, beautiful locks of hair again.
Just as i started to feel overwhelmed, Karthik, entered the room with a gentle smile on his face. He could sense my distress, and he wrapped his arms around me, providing the much-needed comfort and reassurance. “Don’t worry, Snehal,” he whispered softly. “You shaved your head before, remember? You looked adorable and cute with a bald head. Trust me, you will rock the look again.”
His words calmed my racing thoughts, and i couldn’t help but smile through my worries. i found solace in Karthik’s presence, knowing that he understood my concerns and was there to support me. As Karthik prepared to leave the room, he assured me that he would be back in a few hours. He mentioned that he had plans with vijay anna, but promised to return soon. I nodded, grateful for his love and understanding.Left alone in the room.I found solace in my room, my thoughts consumed by the upcoming decision regarding my hair, a gentle knock on the door interrupted my contemplation. Ashwini anni entered, a warm smile on her face,
“Snehal,” Ashwini anni said cheerfully, “I thought we could spend some time together and chat about the wedding preparations. But first, let me help you relax you would be tired due to travelling. How about a soothing oil massage for your tired mind and body?”
My heart warmed at Ashwini anni’s thoughtful gesture. “That sounds wonderful, Ashwini anni. Thank you for your kindness.”We settled comfortably on the bed, and Ashwini anni reached for a bottle of fragrant oil. I watched as Ashwini anni poured the oil into her hands, the soothing scent filling the room.Ashwini Anni’s hands gently massaged my scalp, the sensation spreading comfort and relaxation throughout my body. I closed my eyes, surrendering to the soothing touch and allowing my worries to fade away, if only for a moment.

As Ashwini Anni continued her gentle massage, she couldn’t help but admire my healthy and regrown hair. my once-shaved head had blossomed with renewed vitality and lush strands. Ashwini anni leaned closer, her voice filled with warmth, “Snehal, your hair has grown so beautifully since the head shave. It’s become long and healthy.”
My eyes fluttered open, a soft smile gracing my lips. i appreciated Ashwini anni’s words, knowing they came from a place of love and admiration.I ran my fingers through my hair, relishing the softness and the sense of growth it represented.
Ashwini anni’s voice turned mischievous as she continued, “But you know, Snehal, In just a few days, your hair will be shaved off again, and you’ll have that adorable, cute bald head again.” my eyes widened, a mixture of surprise and excitement dancing within them. I hadn’t anticipated the joyous tone in Ashwini anni’s voice, my mind quickly conjured images of my bald head, remembering the sensations and experiences associated with it.
The prospect of once again embracing the family tradition, of willingly letting go of my cherished hair for a deeper spiritual connection, filled me with a renewed sense of purpose.
As the head massage continued,I closed my eyes once more, savouring the warmth and love surrounding her and i knew that soon my hair would be shaved again, but this time, the experience would be different.

Day after this i got a call from my mother and my heart raced as i listened to my mother’s voice over the phone. The news of my brother’s wedding, just two days after our planned trip to Tirupati, sent a surge of nervousness through me. Thoughts swirled in my mind as i imagined facing my relatives, including extended family members, with a freshly shaved bald head.Gathering my courage,I went to amma and told her about my brother’s Wedding by the time my mother also called her to Invite. I asked “Amma, I’m feeling a bit nervous about attending the wedding with a shaved head. It’s such a significant family event, and I’m concerned about how everyone will react.”What will everyone think? It might draw attention and make me feel uncomfortable. So can we Postpone our Tirupati trip after my brother’s marriage.?”

Amma understanding the weight of my concerns, gently reassured me. “Snehal, my dear, I understand your apprehension. But remember, our family traditions are a part of who we are, and they hold deep significance for us. Attending the wedding with shaved heads will show our unity and commitment to our customs. As we are sacrificing our hair for lord lord Venkateswara. Besides, Vivek and Aarti have made plans to travel to the US, and postponing the Tirupati trip would be difficult.”

I took a deep breath, realizing the importance of the family’s commitments and the significance of their unity. I asked, “Amma, how will our relatives react? Amma’s smile radiated warmth and reassurance. “Snehal, my dear, We will all look adorable together with our shaved heads.”My anxiety began to subside as i absorbed amma’s words. The thought of attending the wedding as a united family, each with a shaved bald head, filled me with a renewed sense of acceptance and pride.

On the day of Vivek’s wedding, l found myself surrounded by a whirlwind of festivities and joyous celebrations. The vibrant colors of traditional attire, the sounds of laughter and music, and the aroma of delectable cuisine filled the air.As the auspicious rituals commenced, I couldn’t help but admire my new sister-in-law, Aarti. Aarti radiated beauty with her long, lustrous hair cascading down her waist. I couldn’t help but notice the air of dedication and sacrifice in Aarti’s eyes, knowing that she would soon be joining the family tradition of shaving her head in Tirupati Temple.
Throughout the wedding ceremony, Me and Aarti bonded, sharing stories and laughter. I admired Aarti’s strength and willingness to embrace the family’s customs with open arms. I couldn’t help but feel a sense of camaraderie, knowing that we would soon embark on a similar journey together. As the joyous celebrations of Vivek’s wedding came to a close, I found myself transitioning from the festivities to the anticipation of the upcoming Tirupati trip. The house buzzed with preparations as everyone busily packed their belongings and made arrangements for the pilgrimage.I moved from room to room, witnessing the flurry of activity. Amma meticulously gathered essential items for the journey, while vijay anna Anna ensured that transportation arrangements were in place. The air was filled with a sense of purpose and devotion, as each family member eagerly prepared themselves for the sacred journey ahead.

Early in Morning as tempo traveler made its way from Chennai to Tirupati, Me, Aarti, and Ashwini anni found a last seat to sit and share our thoughts about the upcoming head shave at the Tirupati temple. The atmosphere was filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness, particularly for Aarti, who was preparing for her first head shave.
Ashwini anni, having undergone the head shave twice before, offered a reassuring smile to Aarti. “Don’t worry, Aarti. I understand your nervousness. But trust me, the experience is truly transformative. It’s a beautiful act of surrender and devotion.”
Aarti twirled a strand of her long hair around her finger, a mixture of anxiety and curiosity in her eyes. “I know, Ashwini anni, but I’ve had long hair for so long. It’s become a part of my identity. Letting go feels overwhelming.”
My Head shave reminding me of my own journey, I leaned in and placed a supportive hand on Aarti’s shoulder and said. “Aarti, I understand exactly how you feel. When I had my first head shave, I had similar doubts and fears. But remember, our hair is just an external aspect. True beauty lies within us and the love we share as a family.”
Ashwini anni chimed in, sharing her wisdom gained from her own experiences. “Indeed, Snehal is right. Our hair will grow back, but the memories and the strength we gain from this experience will last a lifetime. It’s a way to connect with our family’s traditions, to embrace our roots.”
Aarti nodded, her nerves gradually giving way to a newfound resolve. She realized the significance of the journey they were about to embark upon. “You’re both right. This is about more than just hair. It’s about unity, devotion, and honoring our family. I’m ready to let go and experience this alongside all of you.”

My admiration for Aarti growing.I understood the weight of Aarti’s decision and the courage it took to willingly part with her beloved hair.
As the tempo traveler continued its steady course toward Tirupati, the family shared laughter and lively conversations. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of excitement, as each member prepared themselves mentally and emotionally for the upcoming head shave.l glanced around the vehicle, taking in the sight of family members—My husband Karthik, sister-in-law Ashwini, mother-in-law and Father-in-law, niece Avya, and brothers-in-law Vivek and vijay anna. They were all in this together, ready to embrace the tradition and create lasting memories. The journey itself became a symbol of unity, as the tempo traveler carried them toward Tirupati, weaving threads of love and tradition among its passengers. I couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for being a part of such a close-knit and supportive family.

So Finally we arrived in Tirumala, the town nestled in the hills, known for its sacred Tirupati temple. As we stepped out of our vehicle, the cool mountain air brushed against our skin, and a sense of reverence filled our hearts.vijay anna Anna, had made all the arrangements for their stay in a cozy cottage. The cottage stood amidst lush greenery, offering a serene and peaceful environment for their time in Tirumala. We settled into the cottage, Me, Aarti, Ashwini anni and the others gathered in the living area, their anticipation building. The discussions shifted to the upcoming head shave, which was now just a day away. The atmosphere was a blend of excitement, nervousness, and a deep sense of devotion.
Me and Aarti exchanged glances, finding solace in each other’s presence. We knew that our shared experience would help alleviate any anxiety or apprehension they might feel on the day of the head shave.
That evening, as dusk settled over the town,Me, Aarti, and the family strolled through the temple town of Tirumala in the evening, we couldn’t help but notice a significant number of women with shaved heads. The sight took us by surprise, and curiosity filled our minds.
As we walked, Ashwini, with a playful grin, noticed us me and Aarti’s gaze fixed on the bald women. She nudged me gently and teased, “Look at all the beautiful women with their shaved heads. Tomorrow, the three of us will join their ranks, embracing our own unique beauty with pride.”
Me and Aarti blushed at Ashwini’s Anni remark, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement. The realization that we would soon share the same appearance as those women ignited a sense of unity and belonging within them.
We continued our stroll, observing the vibrant marketplace that lined the streets. Shops filled with traditional attire, accessories, and souvenirs beckoned them. Aarti eyes widened with delight as she spotted stalls offering vibrant headscarves.Aarti, still adjusting to the idea of her impending shaved head, hesitantly asked me, “Do you think we should buy some headscarves? It might help us feel more comfortable when we have our heads shaved.”
I smiled reassuringly, understanding Aarti’s apprehension. “That’s a great idea, Aarti. But We are not allowed to cover our head after head shave as amma said we have sacificed our head for god so nothing to be ashamed of.Aarti exchanged glance with me, appreciating the acceptance and encouragement we encountered along our path. we felt a sense of kinship with the women we had seen earlier, realizing that they were part of a larger community of devotees, united in their faith and dedication. As dusk turned into night, we returned to our cottage.

As I settled into our bed, started thinking about Tomorrow would mark a significant chapter in our lives, as we would proudly join the ranks of the women we had observed, their shaved heads representing their shared commitment and devotion. With the night’s peace enveloping , I drifted into a deep sleep.

In the early morning, I was roused from my sleep by amma’s gentle knocking on the door. I quickly got up, feeling a mix of excitement and anticipation for the day ahead. I freshened up, the warmth of the water awakening my senses and preparing me for the experience that awaited.Choosing a simple yellow salwar kameez, I took a moment to appreciate my long hair in the mirror. I ran a brush through my lustrous locks, reveling in the sensation for what would be the last time before my head shave. With a deep breath,I gathered my thoughts, ready to embrace the significance of this act. I entered the hall, and found Ashwini anni and Aarti already waiting, Ashwini anni, clad in a graceful white salwar kameez, let her shoulder-length hair flow freely, embracing the final moments with her hair intact. Aarti, wearing a serene sky blue salwar kameez, had her long hair neatly tied in a ponytail, a symbolic preparation for the upcoming head shave.

I joined them, a bittersweet smile on my face, knowing that we would soon embark on this journey together. We walked side by side, our fingers occasionally playing with the strands of our long hair, cherishing the sensation one last time.As we approached the kalyankatta building, the buzz of anticipation grew stronger. I felt my heart race, a mix of nerves and determination coursing through my veins. I glanced at Ashwini anni and Aarti, finding solace in their presence, knowing they were united in this shared experience.

Karthik went to bring token and I watched as Karthik returned with the tokens required for the head shave in the kalyankatta. He had obtained a total of nine tokens, five for the females and four for the males. My heart fluttered with a mixture of excitement and nerves as i realized the moment was drawing near.Karthik distributed the tokens to each family member, ensuring that everyone had their designated token in hand. I received my token, feeling the weight of its significance in my palm. I looked at Karthik, grateful for his support, and he hugged me tightly, offering words of encouragement. With a warm smile, he whispered, “Go for it, Snehal. You look absolutely beautiful with a bald head. Embrace this experience with confidence and grace.”
my heart swelled with gratitude for Karthik’s unwavering support and love.I felt a surge of courage, knowing that my family stood by side as I embarked on this journey.

As we made our way towards the designated rooms, I held my token close to my heart, a symbol of my commitment and faith. The anticipation grew stronger with each step, and yet, there was a sense of calmness that enveloped.Entering the female designated room, we found ourself surrounded by other women, each on their own personal journey of devotion.

We noticed a queue forming for the head shave. So amma decided that the younger ones should go first. It was then determined that their niece, Avya, would have her head shave before the others. We watched as Avya sat comfortably in Ashwini’s lap, surrounded by the love and support of her mother. The barber prepared for the head shave by gently washing Avya’s hair, preparing her for head shave. We expected Avya to feel some discomfort or perhaps shed a few tears. However, much to our surprise and joy, Avya remained calm and composed throughout the process. She sat with an innocent smile, unaware of the significance of the moment, as the barber carefully shaved her hair.

As Avya’s head shave was completed, and now it was Aarti’s turn to have her long, lustrous hair shaved off. Aarti had the longest hair among us, and the weight of the moment seemed to hang in the air. I could sense the multitude of thoughts swirling in Aarti’s mind.
As Aarti slowly walked towards the barber, I noticed her trembling with nervousness. Ashwini Anni ever the source of comfort, stepped forward and gently reassured Aarti. “Don’t worry, Aarti. Don’t let your thoughts overwhelm you. Just chant ‘Govinda Govinda’ and have faith that everything will be taken care of by the divine.”I could see the relief in Aarti’s eyes as Ashwini anni’s comforting words sank in.
Amma instructed us me and Ashwini anni to help tie Aarti’s long hair into two ponytails, divided from the middle. we carefully secured Aarti’s hair, preparing it for the shave.
With her hair neatly tied, Aarti sat in front of the barber. I could see the anticipation in Aarti’s eyes, mixed with a tinge of apprehension. The barber prepared for the shave, replacing the blade in the razor while Aarti’s gaze remained fixed on that blade and razor which was going to shave her long hair.then barber washed Aarti’s hair with water, preparing to remove the beautiful strands that had once cascaded down her back.Amma stood beside Aarti, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. “Just keep chanting ‘Govinda Govinda,’ Aarti. Allow the divine energy to guide you through this transformative moment.” Amma’s presence offered solace and strength to Aarti, reminding her that she was supported every step of the way.

As the razor made contact with Aarti’s hair, the first locks fell to the ground, revealing her pale scalp. As Aarti’s hair continued to be shaved, strand by strand, memories of my own first head shave at Karthik’s native place flooded my mind. The sound of the razor gliding through Aarti’s hair echoed in my ear, Each strand that fell to the ground represented a symbolic sacrifice, a surrender to the divine and a deepening connection to their family traditions.I vividly remembered the tingling sensation on my own scalp as my hair was gradually removed, revealing my own pale skin underneath for the first time.As Aarti’s head shave neared completion, I could see the tremble in her legs and the mixture of emotions in her eyes. It was a profound moment, one that transcended words. I understood the depth of Aarti’s feelings, for she had experienced them herself. With the final stroke of the razor, Aarti’s head shave was complete. As Aarti stood there, her hand trembling as it reached for her freshly shaved head, Amma approached her with open arms. A sense of gratitude and love radiated from her as she enveloped Aarti in a tight embrace. Me and Ashwini anni joined in, Our hearts overflowing with appreciation for Aarti’s willingness to embrace the tradition and sacrifice her long hair.Amma’s voice was filled with emotion as she whispered, “Thank you, Aarti, my dear. Your act of devotion touches my heart deeply. You have honored our family and our traditions with your sacrifice.”I knew the courage it took to let go of one’s cherished locks and embrace the baldness that symbolized devotion and unity. I stepped forward and hugged Aarti, feeling the softness of her newly shaved head.

Now my turn finally arrived, I followed Amma’s instructions, washed my hair and then taking a seat in front of the barber. I couldn’t help but feel a flurry of butterflies in my stomach, knowing that this head shave would be different from my first experience. With my head bent forward, I felt the cool touch of the razor against my scalp. The barber’s skilled hands moved swiftly, scraping away my long, luscious locks strand by strand. As each strand fell to the ground, my heart filled with a mix of emotions—anticipation, nervousness, and a profound sense of surrender.Unlike my first head shave, this time I was not driven by a sense of obligation or tradition alone. I had come to understand the deeper meaning behind this act of devotion. It was a personal choice, a way to connect with her spirituality and embrace the beauty of letting go.As the barber continued his gentle strokes, I closed my eyes, allowing myself to fully immerse in the experience. I let go of any remaining attachment to my hair, recognizing that my true beauty lay not in my external appearance but in the depth of my character. The sound of the razor against my scalp created a symphony of transformation, my thoughts shifted from the physical sensations to the emotional and spiritual journey i was embarking upon. As the final remnants of my hair were removed, I could feel the cool air on my bare scalp. I took a deep breath, savoring the sensation, and slowly stood up, my hand instinctively reached out to touch my freshly shaved head. Aarti and Ashwini anni looked at me, their eyes filled with a mixture of awe and amusement. They couldn’t help but burst into laughter, their shared bond and newfound baldness bringing them closer than ever. The laughter was contagious, filling the room with a sense of joy and lightness. I realized that in this moment, they were not defined by their external appearance but by the love and unity they shared as a family.

With a renewed sense of camaraderie, , Aarti, and me continued to support each other as we awaited Ashwini anni’s turn for the head shave. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation, and yet there was a sense of tranquility and acceptance that permeated the room.As Ashwini anni took her seat in front of the barber, Aarti and me stood by her side, offering silent encouragement. The razor glided across Ashwini anni’s scalp, gracefully removing her shoulder-length hair. With each stroke, her beauty radiated from within, a reflection of her courage and devotion to the family.Once Ashwini anni’s head shave was complete, Amma, Our pillar of strength, took her turn in front of barber. The ritual continued, with each member of the family embracing the act of surrendering their hair as a symbol of unity and devotion.

As we made our way outside the kalyankatta building the male members of our family, their heads also freshly shaved, stood waiting for us. The sight of the entire family, bald heads shining in unison, brought tears to Amma’s eyes. She couldn’t contain her emotions and pulled each of us into a tight embrace. “Thank you, my dear daughters, for embracing our family tradition,” she whispered, her voice filled with heartfelt appreciation. It was a powerful testament to their unity, strength, and commitment to their faith.Me, Aarti, Ashwini anni, and Amma walked side by side, Our bald heads glistening in the sunlight.

We returned to the cottage, where we took our bath, Amma, ever thoughtful, had prepared new sarees for us to wear for the darshan (sacred visit). The vibrant colors of the sarees symbolized renewal and devotion, adorning their bald heads with a touch of elegance.

The following day, filled with renewed energy and a deep sense of spiritual fulfillment, we embarked on our journey back to Chennai. Memories of our time in Tirumala lingered in our hearts, and the bond forged through the shared experience of head shaving was unbreakable.

Once we arrived in Chennai next day we had flight for Pune to attend my brother’s wedding.
As we arrived in Pune for my brother’s wedding, we were met with astonished looks from my relatives. The sight of the entire family, including the females, with their freshly shaved heads was unexpected and caught everyone off guard.I explained the reason behind Our bald heads, a sense of awe and respect spread among our relatives. They listened attentively as I shared the significance of our pilgrimage to Tirupati Balaji temple and the act of offering our hair as a symbol of devotion and surrender.Instead of judgment or criticism, the relatives responded with admiration and understanding. They recognized the depth of faith and the strength it took to carry out such a profound act of devotion. Some even expressed their own desire to undertake a similar pilgrimage and experience the spiritual connection.
The atmosphere during the wedding festivities was filled with warmth and acceptance. My bald head once again became a conversation starter. Relatives approached me with curiosity and respect.

Throughout the wedding festivities, Me and my family felt supported and embraced by our relatives.Me danced with joy during the wedding celebrations, my bald head shining under the bright lights, I felt a deep sense of fulfillment. I had honored my family’s traditions, strengthened her faith, and inspired others through my actions.

As the wedding festivities came to a close, my family returned to Chennai, their hearts full of cherished memories.
