The barberette was happy that she inspired Bella to become a barberette. They both laughed and smiled and knew they were meant for each other.
Bella graduated high school with a sense of excitement for the future; however, she was quickly brought back to reality when she realized she had no money for college. Desperate to find a job that paid well, she came across a help wanted sign in a barbershop. Though hesitant to step inside, Bella eventually gathered the courage and walked in.
The barbershop was unlike any Bella had ever seen; instead of being filled with clients asking for the latest trends, it was almost completely empty, and the only person there was a beautiful bald woman. She had a delicate face with thin, perfectly shaped eyebrows, and she was completely bald. Thinking she was just opting for a cool summer look, Bella was intrigued and decided to learn more.
That’s when the woman told Bella she would have to work hard for the job, six days a week with no days off, twelve hours a day. Knowing that she needed the money, Bella agreed, and the woman began the interview. The last requirement, the woman said, was for Bella to get a haircut. Assuming it would just be a trim of her long locks, Bella accepted. Little did she know what was about to happen.
The woman put a cape around Bella and when the clippers turned on, she felt a cold rush of air over her scalp. The clippers against her head felt like an amazing massage, and the cream the woman spread over her skin was soothing. But when the woman pulled out the straight razor to shave Bella’s head, she was struck with fear and shock.
Bella nervously stepped out of the shop with a bald head, and the woman said her first shift would be the next day. Never one to back down from a challenge, Bella showed up the next day and let the woman shave her head smooth and shiny before her shift.
A year later and Bella was still working at the barbershop. She had learned how to cut hair and eventually became a barber herself. But what she didn’t realize was how close she and the woman had become.
The two fell in love and eventually moved into the apartment above the barbershop. They laughed together, shared secrets, and of course ran their hands over their smooth bald heads while making love. The two were meant for each other and their unusual love story was something that none of their friends could believe.
The woman was happy that she had been able to inspire Bella in such a unique way and knew that her life would never been the same. They were young and in love, and their bald heads were a symbol of the strength and courage it took for them to follow their hearts.
