The cruel husband

Isabella sat before the vanity, gazing at the cascade of glossy, reddish-brown hair that reached her waist. It was her pride and joy, a striking feature she had cultivated for years.

Her husband, Marcus, stood behind her, holding a powerful pair of hair clippers. Lately, his taunts had grown increasingly cruel, mocking everything she did.

That night, he escalated the abuse, moving from verbal insults to physical control. Under the guise of a “joke”—and insisting she needed a lesson in humility—he forced her into the chair and fastened a salon cape around her neck.

Isabella’s protests were met with mocking laughter as he switched on the clippers. With swift, aggressive strokes, Marcus sheared off her hair, letting the heavy locks pile up on the floor like discarded fabric.

But the true humiliation came when he adjusted the clippers. Instead of evening out the cut or creating a conventional short style, he began to carve out the unmistakable pattern of advanced male-pattern baldness, shaving the top of her head completely bare while leaving the sides and back patchy and exposed.

When he finally spun the chair around so she faced the mirror, Isabella wept. He had stripped away her beautiful hair and replaced it with a ridiculous, laughing as he handed her a hand mirror and told her to get used to her “new look.”

Upon leaving the room, he had left her behind, lost in thought about what act of cruelty he would devise next; upon returning, he pulled her into his arms and laid her gently onto the soft bed.

His arms held her firmly and possessively as they slept; at dawn, he would run his warm fingers over the smooth, gleaming surface of her shaved head, massaging it and planting tender kisses on the nape of her neck, all while whispering that he would keep her that way forever.

Marcus kept his promise to hold his beloved—and treacherous—wife in captivity, trapped in a cycle of humiliation and silent submission.
