Hi all this is my first story and quite obvious I may lack of details please provide feedback which will encourage me further…..
Aswathy, a 28-year-old HR executive at a multinational corporation in Bangalore, was renowned for her knee-length, glossy black hair. Her colleagues often admired her for her dedication to maintaining such a striking and traditional style. On the special occasion of Onam, her office decided to hold a unique competition to celebrate the festival. The competition was focused on showcasing long hair, and Aswathy, with her stunning length, emerged as the winner, much to the delight of her peers.
The victory was a proud moment for Aswathy, but the celebration took an unexpected turn. The office had planned a twist for the winner: a public haircut. This surprise was intended as a fun and light-hearted finale to the event. The crowd’s excitement grew as they eagerly awaited the transformation.
Aswathy, initially taken aback by the announcement, was ushered to a chair set up in the middle of the office space, surrounded by her colleagues. Tears welled up in her eyes as she took her seat, her mind racing with apprehension. The host, Rajesh, approached her with a dramatic flair, lifting her long hair with one hand.
Rajesh addressed the crowd, “Our beloved Rapunzel has won this competition. Now, it’s time for her to experience a new look. Vote for the haircut you think suits her best!” The crowd was buzzing with anticipation, and the votes quickly came in. The overwhelming choice was a pixie cut.
Aswathy, already feeling a mix of anger and sadness, tried to assert her authority, “I’m HR, and I don’t want this. I will not accept this.” Her protest was met with a mix of sympathetic and indifferent reactions from the crowd. Rajesh, focused on the show, insisted, “It’s a part of the fun! Let’s give her a pixie cut.”
The barber, an experienced professional, prepared for the transformation. Rajesh, with a theatrical flourish, instructed the barber to braid Aswathy’s long hair and secure it with an elastic band at the base. The crowd watched in anticipation as the once-glamorous length was neatly coiled into a braid. The braid, now prominent, seemed almost like a trophy of sorts, a symbol of what was about to be cut away.
Rajesh then turned Aswathy’s chair around to face the audience. He held up the braid and announced, “Shall we cut it?” The crowd cheered enthusiastically. The atmosphere was charged with excitement and a bit of trepidation.
Without further ado, the barber positioned the scissors and began the process. With a decisive snip, krichhhh krichh the braid was severed from Aswathy’s head. Aswathy braid fought a good fight against the scissors, but in the end scissors won over the braid. The crowd erupted in cheers as Rajesh held up the braid for everyone to see. The sight of the long braid, now separated from Aswathy’s head, was met with a mix of awe and excitement.
Aswathy, watching from her seat, was in disbelief. Her hair, which had been her pride and joy, was now reduced to a mere bundle. The barber continued, trimming the remaining length into a stylish pixie cut. Barber picked up the clippers and put it socket and start to guide it over the backs. Aswathy’s hairs getting fall over all the places her back side getting shorter and shorter. Once the barber done with back everyone was surprised to see the remaining length which was pretty short for girl around 1 to 2 inches only remaining. Barber put clippers on the right side and continue the same motion. More and more hairs are sweep away . Everyone was excited to see the final look. Barber look her top hairs which was 7 to 8 inches intact he took the scissors ans cut that length away it fall down into her lap ,more tears rolled out of her eyes . Barber made the top around 5 inches long which enough to comb for her .The transformation was swift and dramatic. Each cut was executed with precision, leaving Aswathy with a fresh, modern pixie cut that framed her face and highlighted her features in an entirely new way.
The final result was a stark contrast to her original look. Aswathy, despite her initial distress, now faced her new reflection with a mix of resignation and newfound understanding. The office crowd continued to cheer, celebrating the dramatic change.
Aswathy’s experience became a memorable story among her colleagues. While the event had been a whirlwind of emotions and unexpected outcomes, it also offered a valuable lesson in adaptability and resilience. The day ended with Aswathy accepting her new look and reflecting on how sometimes, the most surprising changes can lead to profound personal growth.
