Walkies

By Shorngirl

I’m a bit of a bitch…

Summer was my favorite season, for so many reasons. I guess the obvious one is that I absolutely despise being cold. I’ll take a sweaty workout in the blazing sun over a brisk walk through the snow to my iced-over car. Ugh!

The other is that I love the outdoors. Walking in the woods and nearby hillsides was what I lived for. To be in and amongst the trees and flowers, to have a stream or brook babble by beside me, it was heaven.

So, as the first leaves began to open, the daffodils nestled in the shade around the budding trees just put me in the mood to walk. Like the bad girl I was, I did a runner and was excited to take full advantage of it.

My well-worn trainers were best for now, as the footpaths were bound to be muddy this early in the spring. I left my car at home, deciding to make use of the local trails and be home in time for a nice lunch.

I was a good mile into my walk when I thought I saw someone behind me. On the next straight my suspicions were confirmed. It was another woman, so I didn’t think anything of it as she grew closer, her choice to run rather than walk.

“Beautiful day,” She offered as she pulled up beside me and slowed to my pace. “Took the day to play?” She mused, and I didn’t know whether to answer her truthfully. My office hadn’t taken to checking up on its employees, as far as I knew.

“Actually, yes, I did,” I admitted.

“It’s alright, you know. I’ve been a naughty girl now and again.” She chortled. I didn’t know quite how to take her meaning. I suppose one could be labelled ‘naughty’ for fraudulently claiming I was unwell just to get out of work. “Feel like a run?’ She asked.

I hadn’t come out for companionship, and certainly not for a run, so I declined. “Sorry, it’s my first day out this year, and I’d better take it easy.”

“Suit yourself. You enjoy your walkies.” She chuckled as she sped on ahead.

“Walkies?” I muttered under my breath. “What am I, a dog?” I tried to put the woman and her demeaning comment out of my mind, enjoying the rest of the morning.

It must have been three weeks later, on a weekend, and I was walking along the same right of way. The paths had dried up now, and were not nearly as slippy an experience. I’d come across a few other people on my walk, but to my surprise, the same woman appeared beside me.

“You like this trail, don’t you?” She asked, curiously.

“I do, yes.” A bit leery of striking up a conversation.

“It’s the third time I’ve seen you out here by yourself.” The woman insisted.

I wondered just when she’d spotted me without my being aware. “Really?”

“You’d best come with me, young lady.” Suddenly, the woman had hold of my arm and was dragging me off the side of the trail.

“Hey! What are you doing?” I yelled, but she simply ignored me, pulling me through a space in the hedgerow and into a large field. “Let go of me!”

“I think you’d better do as I say, girl, or I might just let it slip that you’ve been slacking at work.” She was far stronger than me, and as much as I tried, I could not prise my arm free of her grip.

“Who are you, and how do you even know where I work?” I seethed, still resisting as we approached a farm on the far side of the opening.

“I’ve done my homework, Elizabeth. I think you’ll find I know a good deal more than you’d be comfortable sharing.” She stopped suddenly, looking at me face-to-face. “You wouldn’t want to lose that cushy job now, would you?”

I think she must have seen the surrender in my eyes as I looked down at her feet. “No.” I sighed. She was at least ten years my senior, but she bore her age well. Although her face was pretty, there was a sternness to it that almost frightened me. “No, I wouldn’t.”

“Then we won’t speak of it again. You simply do as I say, and you can carry on in your job, and enjoy your little townhouse on the edge of the village.” She pulled me into a small barn and let go of my arm, almost daring me to run past her. I didn’t dare. “Take off your kit and stand just there, Lizzy.”

I couldn’t believe I was even considering doing as this woman asked, but what choice did I have? By the time I was down to my sports bra and knickers, she was smirking. I hesitated, and this annoyed her.

“Everything off, now. Stop wasting my time.” The smirk transformed into a scowl, and I quickly lost the rest, including my trainers and socks. “That’s better. Let’s have a look at you, then. Turn about for me.”

Humiliated, I did as she commanded, spinning on the spot, my bare feet slipping on the filthy tile floor. “Why are you doing this to me?” I begged.

“Because I can, girlie. Because I can.” She affirmed. “Leave your togs and come with me.” She led me across a courtyard and into the vestibule of what must have been her home. I’d never been so humiliated in all my years, but I stood there as she eyed me up and down. “You’re a fine little bitch, now, aren’t you?” She mused as she lifted my hair and squeezed my small breasts boldly. “Hands and knees.” Her forefinger pointed at the floor, and I had no choice but to obey.

The floor was clean, but I hated that my long hair draped onto it around my splayed-out fingers. She knelt next to me and started running her hands over my body, feeling my arms, my legs, my back, and finally my sex.

“Yes, a fine bitch. Narrow withers, firm haunches, and a healthy vulva, although it could use some grooming, to be fair.” She grabbed my hair, pulling it back from my face, harshly. “As for the ruff, you really do need a thorough grooming. You can’t possibly pass as a long-haired breed, not with the rest of you being so… sleek.” She allowed my hair to fall back to the floor. “No, as pretty as it is, it will have to go.”

“You can’t cut my hair, please.” I sobbed, knowing it was futile. This woman seemed bound and determined to turn me into her dog, and I was too frightened not to comply.

“Nonsense. And that’s enough complaining out of you.” To my horror, she produced what looked strangely like a muzzle. Forcing a knob past my lips roughly, she fastened the rest around the back of my head, effectively keeping me from speaking. “You may whine all you want now, Lizzy.” So, I did.

Vetting Was Only the Start…

My entire day at work the following Friday was horrific. I knew what was coming, and I was scared half to death. All week I tried to think of a way to come clean, to tell my boss that all the days I’d taken off were a fraud. I knew it would only end in my getting the sack. So… I resigned myself to it. Ms. Taggart as I learned she was called, would have her way with me.

Would losing my job be worse than whatever this rather eccentric woman had in store. At times, I thought I might be better off just chucking the whole thing and starting fresh. Then I thought about how long it had taken me to get where I was in the company and reconsidered.

“You best be prepared,” I remembered her saying as I made my way home with my tail between my legs. I know that sounds too convenient, but that’s exactly how I felt. She’d held onto my trainers and my underwear, and there was something about walking those few hundred yards in nothing but a flimsy top and some satin shorts, my bare feet scuffling along the pavement.

Of course, when I did get home, I whipped everything off and ran for the shower as if that might wash off Ms. Taggart’s assessment of me. I ended by jilling off over the demeaning way I was treated, which took me completely by surprise. How could I find such humiliating treatment arousing? Disgusted with myself, I did my best to put the whole thing behind me.

Now, here I was, my short reprieve almost at an end, to report to her barns the following morning. I was scared shitless. What did she expect me to do about work? I couldn’t very well arrive sans hair. I’d be the laughingstock, not to mention what it might do to my credibility. Ugh, this was a nightmare, and all because of my dubious call-offs.

All that night, I fretted. I tried not to compare my situation to one that was sentenced to the gallows, all the weeping and pacing that went along with it. The thing was, I wasn’t in the damned tower, and what was about to happen wasn’t going to end my life, merely change it drastically.

She’d given me what to wear, and I’d laid it out on the bed. It stared at me with all its utter simplicity. I’d even tried it on a few times, imagining walking down the street in it. Ugh… God! If it were a hessian sack, it couldn’t have been worse. At least it wasn’t scratchy as such.

I thought sleep would elude me, but to my surprise, I found myself waking to my alarm clock, having dropped right off. Strange, that. So, now it was time. I showered as she had instructed, soaping up with the product she’d given me. It smelled of oatmeal and disinfectant, but the nondescript bottle she’d put it in left a lot to the imagination.

Now, the shift. That was exactly what it was, I decided. The weave felt more like gauze than cotton, and it was as see-through as one might expect. I imagined getting stopped by the police for indecent exposure or a mental health check. The point was, nobody drove down our street at that hour of the morning. The sun had barely started to prick the horizon with a blue haze.

No, she wanted all the humiliation, without any of the risk, hence the hour. There were no shoes, no socks, and no underwear. Just this flimsy piece of cotton between me and the world. I tucked my housekey under the mat, which seemed almost too obvious. Wasn’t that what everyone did?

There I was, facing the street, the orange glow of the streetlights still illuminating the walk. For once, I was thankful that the council had dragged its feet on replacing them with LEDs, as much of the country had done. At least I would be lit in the relatively low buzzing glow of mercury vapour.

Looking down at my naked feet, I slowly stepped off the step and onto the walk. Almost mechanically, I started to walk. It was surreal, in that I knew precisely what I looked like and had anyone seen me, they would have been utterly shocked. Still, I walked on. Too far from home now to turn should anyone appear, I set my jaw and picked up the pace.

Only a hundred yards until Ms. Taggart’s drive, and all its sharp, knobby pea gravel. I imagined it wouldn’t register, but it did and with a vengeance. By the time I reached the barns, I was hobbling from the pain.

“I shouldn’t worry, Lizzy. Your paws will toughen up.” She’d been waiting for me, dressed in jodhpurs and a white button-down shirt. “Let’s get rid of this, shall we?” She reached down and pulled the shift over my head. I voluntarily raised my arms to facilitate her action, uncertain why I was being so cooperative; perhaps out of fear, or maybe surrender? I could smell the soap on my body and hair, now smelling more distinctly of disinfectant than oatmeal. “Down you go.”

She pressed on my shoulder, and without thinking, I sank to my hands and knees, just as I had the week before. Once again, my long blonde hair swept onto the floor, only now it was the barn, and the tiles were wet and grimy.

As if reading my mind, she leaned down to my ear. “Don’t you fret, little Lizzy. You won’t have to worry about soiling your coat after today.” She almost whispered, as if it were a secret or something. She stood and walked over to her Landie, opening the back to reveal a dog cage. I think my eyes must have popped, because she chuckled over my surprise. “Don’t look so surprised, pup. I can’t very well have you moving all about while I’m driving now, can I?”

Defeated, I crawled to the back of her truck and did my best to climb in, without standing up, managing to smack my knee in the process. The cage was barely big enough for me to crawl into, and I found myself curled into a ball, my knees tucked tight against my chin as she locked me in.

“Polly was a bit smaller than you, but for now we’ll have to make do, won’t we?” She mused, closing the gate with a bang before climbing in up front. All I could see were the bars of the cage and a small bit of sky through the rear window.

Had she done this to someone else? I asked myself. Who was Polly, another unfortunate girl, caught in this woman’s web? I wondered how she’d managed to escape her fate, one that I was only just about to endure. Oh, if the guys at work could see me just then, I was certain they’d think differently about the assertive account executive that they all had eyes for. I’d never live it down.

Thankfully, the ride to wherever we were going was short, and I found myself alone in the Land Rover. It was about the time that I could begin to hear my own heart beating that the gate opened. Almost thankful for the sound, I turned my head to see a young man dressed in a white lab coat, standing beside Ms. Taggart.

“This is Lizzy, Dr. Harptree. I’m afraid she’s a bit disheveled with her coat being so long.” She explained.

“Well, we’ll soon sort that out, now, won’t we, Lizzy?” The door to the cage opened, and I was coaxed out backward until I was kneeling up on the bed behind it. For the first time, a collar was fastened around my neck, and to that, a lead. “Can’t have her running off, now, can we?” He seemed so cheerful and nonchalant, like he’d done this a thousand times.  Couldn’t he see I was a girl, not a dog? He wasn’t blind, merely complicit.

At least the guy helped me down from the bed of the truck. I pictured him pulling me off and landing squarely on my face. As we entered the small building, I shouldn’t have been surprised that there wasn’t the characteristic barking and whining you might hear in a normal vet’s office. No, this was not that sort of place at all. What was surprising was the impressive exam room I was led into. This was no joke, with all sorts of medical and grooming equipment hanging on the walls.

“Shall I pick her up this afternoon?” Ms. Taggart asked. Was she actually going to leave me here with this guy? He obviously wasn’t a ‘real’ vet, so I wondered just what I was in for.

“She should be ready by two, so anytime after that. Shall I help you with the larger cage, Ms. Taggart?” The two of them disappeared, and I was left alone in the stark white room, the collar and lead still attached. Instinctively, I checked the door, finding it locked. Why wasn’t I surprised?

When Dr. Harptree returned, he found me up on two feet, and seemed annoyed. “I do hope you’re not going to make me snip your Achilles. That would be unfortunate.”

I immediately fell to my hands and knees again, terrified by his threat, although I sincerely doubted it was anything more than that. Grabbing the lead, he pulled me over to an exam table, which lowered electrically to the floor.

“I know it’s not very doggish of you, but I’ll have you on your back for the time being, Lizzy.” Doing as he asked, I lay on my back while the table was elevated. “There, that’s better.” He patted my thigh as one might pat a dog.

His next move should have been expected, but I was taken aback, nevertheless. “Yes, I see what she means about your vulva, Lizzy. Let’s take care of that first. You are a hairless hound, after all.” He smirked. “Open up.”

I splayed my legs open as he unhooked a set of small clippers from the wall, the cordless variety my hairstylist used to trim up those pesky hairs along my neck. They made hardly a sound, but I could feel the damage they wrought as he ran them up either side of my slot. He missed nothing, insisting that I pull up my knees, allowing him to trim what little hair I had around my jacksie. How humiliating.

“Now for the fun part.” He mused, moving a small pot onto a side table he had set up. I knew exactly what that was, and my suspicions were confirmed when he spooned a dollop of the stiff onto one side of my mons. I honestly yelped when he pulled away the first strip of wax, and any remnants of pubic hair along with it. This went on for a few minutes, including my arse, until he was satisfied I was well and truly bald down there. “Yes, that’s it. Ms. Taggart will be pleased.”

“Now, I’m afraid we get down to the bit you’re going to hate the most, Lizzy.” Dr. Harptree closed my legs and walked around the table until he was looking down at me from above. “I bet the boys love all this, then, don’t they?” He prodded, running his fingers through the full length of my hair.

Did he actually expect me to answer, or was this just him having a go at me, knowing damned well what he was about to do was wrong in so many ways? A small sigh escaped my lips unbidden, which was enough for him apparently.

“I know, Lizzy. Look at the bright side. You might actually enjoy it.” He grinned, hefting the same small trimmers he used to subdue my bush. They would cut very close, I knew. “Ms. Taggart informs me that you hold quite a lucrative position at your firm. Imagine their shock if they could see what I was about to do?”

An Unexpected Reaction…

He lowered the table, pulling on my collar until I was kneeling up on the floor. I closed my eyes as he brought the clippers to my bonce, dreading that first bite as they moved in for their meal. To my surprise, the blades tickled as they moved along my scalp, but not nearly as much as the hair cascading over my shoulders and onto the clean checked tile.

I swear I could hear each individual hair surrender, melded into a chorus of sighs as it was severed from its root. It was awful, but surprisingly arousing at the same time. I caught myself wondering what could possibly be erotic about having my head shaved. By the time he had cleared the crown, I knew I was leaking down the inside of my thighs. It was the second time during this ordeal that I’d felt the need. But then, this was the most humiliating thing of them all, and there I was, juicing over it.

“You see, it’s not all that bad, now, is it?” Dr. Harptree asked, pulling the clippers through and clearing another strip from my quickly balding head. The floor was a sea of blonde curls, a furious rain flowing over my hypersensitive body, joining it, deepening it, until I felt like an island of my own making.

I could feel his breath on my skin now, where my hair had been only a few seconds before, and it heightened my arousal that much more. I could smell myself now, that familiar musty fragrance that I’d grown so accustomed to. I wanted to touch it, to feel my fingers slide through my hairless folds.

My ears felt naked, as he worked on the sides, laid bare for the first time in my life, I thought. How excruciatingly degrading this was, and yet, the small puddle of my essence on the tile between my knees made it clear I was more than enjoying it. It didn’t go unnoticed.

“Hmm, someone’s in heat, aren’t they?” Dr. Harptree mused.

And then, I did something I never would have seen coming. Giving in to the illusion, the mockery that I was as this canine fantasy, I whined aloud. The clippers finally fell silent, and I felt his hand run over my bare scalp, confidently rubbing it.

“Well, that would be fine for me, but I know Ms. Taggart won’t be satisfied. I’m going to make it all smooth, Lizzy. How do you feel about that, hmm?” The whine had morphed into a moan as my arousal got the best of me. What was wrong with me? This man had just stolen my best asset, and I was playing into his hands.

“You are wet, aren’t you?” He mused, running his gloved fingers through my sex, eliciting an embarrassing groan as he moved me back to the table. “Let’s see how you react to this, then.” Dr. Harptree smirked, as he sat me on the edge of the table and spread lather over my stubbled head. He was going to shave me, I mean, really shave me, and I was almost at wits’ end as his razor cut through the last of my precious hair with a gnawing rasp.

I looked for a mirror, some marginal reflection, anywhere, that might tell me that I still looked human. There was nothing, perhaps deliberately. I squirmed on the vinyl padding, the wetness that continued to ooze from me making things a bit slippy down there. The doctor was relentless, working his way around my ears and down the back of my head to my neck, until I knew he was done, not because he stopped, but because every inch of my scalp tingled from being touched with his blade.

“Come on, Lizzy. I can’t send you back to Ms. Taggart in this state. She’ll think me quite unprofessional, and assume the worst, of course.” He tugged on the lead, pulling me back onto my hands and knees. I crawled behind him, still drooling from between my legs as we approached an open washroom. He had me crawl into a tiled surround and removed my collar.

The water wasn’t cold, but it wasn’t warm either, and I couldn’t help but shiver under the spray. He hosed me down from every angle until he was sure he’d removed every trace of hair and lather, paying close attention to my sex, the spray having the opposite effect than he might have desired.

Dripping wet and hot as an ember, he chuckled at my appearance. “Well, you certainly are a sleek, hairless beast now, Lizzy. Shall I let you have a look?” He asked. I wasn’t going to beg, but I wanted to see in the worst possible way. The collar went back on, and he directed me into the hall. At the end, I could see my reflection getting larger, and it wasn’t good.

Still glistening from the bath I’d received, every part of me looked stripped and slimy, but most especially my head. In sharp contrast to my face, my scalp was snow-white and hard, reflecting the lights lining the centre of the corridor like a shard of glass.

As if reading my mind, he spoke. “You go ahead and run your paw over it, Lizzy.” Lifting my hand, my fingers touched it first, their cold tips sliding effortlessly over its surface. Then my palm came to rest flat against it, feeling nothing but the alabaster silk of its surface.

“Oh, my god.” I gasped, forgetting myself for a moment.

“I should give you a swat, pup, but I’ll grant you a bone, just this once.” Dr. Harptree scolded, laughing under his breath. “I suppose you’re due a bit of a moment.”

My reflection would have been shocking in any circumstances, but on my hands and knees with a dog collar about my neck, and a lead extending this man’s control over me, it was overwhelming. Without the beautiful blonde hair framing my face, I was nothing but the creature they aspired to create.

My ears, although not overly large, stuck out from the sides of my head like fleshy appendages, foreign and strange and a little pointy. I’d never noticed that about them, but then, why would I have? I groaned as the realization of my altered appearance sank into my bones. I couldn’t decide if I was hideous or simply alien-looking. I opted for the latter, and I was about to spoil the bath Dr. Harptree had just given me.

“You are insatiable, aren’t you, Lizzy?” He noticed as we walked back to the brightly lit exam room. “Just a few more things, and we’ll take you outside for walkies.” To be perfectly honest, I did need a wee, and I suppose that would be the only way I’d get one.

As I sat patiently, kneeling up with my heels pressed into my freshly shaven buttocks, the doctor pulled out two new boxes and set them on the counter. “Ms. Taggart ordered these specifically for you. I think they’re adorable, but you may have other opinions.

Out of the larger box emerged what could only be described as a long flesh coloured appendage. It wobbled about like it was made from the rubber that sex toys were made from. Please don’t ask how I know. It was at least a foot long, thin, and had two rather distinct knobs on one end. I suddenly realized what it was and how it attached to me.

“Heel for me, Lizzy.” Obediently, I pressed forward onto my hands and crawled over to him, the lead dragging on the floor now. “It’s a good thing you’re such a juicy pup, Lizzy. It certainly makes this so much simpler.” He bent forward with the business end approaching my arse.

Now, it wasn’t that I’d never experimented with anal insertions; I had, but this thing looked like a trailer hitch. He rubbed it through my folds, lubricating it thoroughly, before bringing it to my pink little hole. What I thought would be a struggle went in rather handily, followed by a second insertion that slipped into my cunt with a conspicuous slurp. And… that was that. I had a tail.

“Walk for me now, Lizzy. Let’s see how it moves.” I could feel it swaying this way and that as I crawled, eliciting an excited giggle from the doctor. “Oh, how marvellous, and the colour is a perfect match!”

“Now for the pièce de résistance.” From the other box, a rather nondescript lump of the same rubbery material appeared, at least it was until he turned it around to face me. It was a dog’s snout, complete with a brownish-pink nose. Surely, he wasn’t going to put that on my face.

“This glue is hypoallergenic, Lizzy, so it shouldn’t bother your other face underneath.” He slathered the piece with the adhesive, which had a berry scent to it. Not unpleasant, well, not nearly so much as the notion of disappearing behind the frighteningly realistic dog face. Carefully aligning it with my lips at the back, Dr. Harptree pressed the appliance firmly against my normally attractive visage until he was certain the glue had set.

It felt odd; a weight hanging from my cheeks and lips that was foreign and yet not uncomfortable. I suppose I should have been happy with that.

“You simply must see, Lizzy. I think you’ll be quite pleased.” Again, we were moving, the lead pulled tight in his exuberance to show off his creation. The mirror was not going to be my friend as I caught my reflection in its unforgiving surface. The snout fit so perfectly, and matched my skin colour so exactly, that it was as though I’d simply grown it myself.

It was supple, opening and closing as I moved my mouth so well hidden beneath. The craftsmanship was superb, making my situation that much more intimidating. Between the wagging tail protruding from my rear end and this new identity that was fastened securely to my face, I was unrecognizable. Maybe, just maybe, that was a good thing?

He proudly led me out into his back garden, a dog, save for close examination, and directed me onto the grass. Embarrassingly, I did my business, squatting under his mindful scrutiny. “You did have to go, didn’t you, Lizzy?” He mused as the strong stream of urine continued to flow between my legs.

He released the lead from my collar, once I was inside the dog cage, a much larger enclosure than the one in Ms. Taggart’s Land Rover. I could turn and lie down, but it was just restrictive enough to remind me where I was, and why.

Eventually, she appeared around the corner, a huge smile on her face as I knelt up, my new tail wagging against the bars of the cage. “Oh, look at you, Lizzy. Such a good pup!” She ran her slender fingers over my freshly tonsured skull, causing me to juice up all over again. “You’ve certainly outdone yourself this time, doctor. Why, no one will be the wiser at the kennel club tomorrow.”

As I rested, more comfortably now in the larger cage, I could hear Ms. Taggart bragging to one of her kennel buddies about how she was going to take the prize. So, as we rolled along the lane, I indulged in some much-needed self-gratification, imagining myself as the star of the show.
