Hi, this looks very good I do like the new layout, especially on mobile, there is a few things I want to say.

The bar on the sides look good on the home page but I think when you actually open a story they might clutter the page a bit, I don’t know if it is possible to remove the left bar while reading a story?

The comments seem to be broken I assume this is just a teething issue but thought worth mentioning.

If we are going to have a newest highlighted should it just be newest or maybe scroll through a few stories?

Is it worth putting a copywrite thing on the site. Even with a note saying don’t scrape the site for ai or repost without authors permission?

In terms of new features.

Having a word count might be useful similar to like ao3 where you can see how long a story is.

Also if we could “highlight” a few stories every few months as a category that could be a good way to be able to encourage people to read some of the older stuff some of the older stuff.

Overall I think you have done a really good job and it’s nice to see the website getting a bit of a refresh.

Oh I do know the story you are talking about. Tony deleted their account here and removed their stories. I don’t know if they are viewable on through the wayback machine or if they posted them somewhere else.

I just said it contains stolen copyrighted material and to remove immediately, I also sent it a copyright report which might of notified and spoked them.

Please can someone take a look at Joy’s stories I told them off a while ago for using children in them and even though their recent stories don’t have ages I think they seem very child coded but idk. Also they are terrible but written in a way that kinda makes me suspect the writer might be a child but again idk

We would have to make it as a category also I think we should remove images (obviously it is hsnadmins decision) if it is causing server issues but as well as that it could put us at risk (if someone uploads porn and uk porn laws wise). I also think we are going to struggle to raise money, either from authors or readers as long as the site has the problems with lots of ai/low quality and people not being able to find the stories they want to.

My view is we remove images, stating clearly why then try to add a new feature around finding stories either the highlighted idea I suggested or the site navigation changes hsnadmin said he had some thoughts on and do an appeal after that. If we still don’t get any donations after that I think we need to look for other methods.
