ParticipantThis entire topic reminds me of the character in Orwell’s “1984” whose job was running a pornography writing machine that had only 6 plots. That sounds about right.
But I’m uncertain what the accomplishment is in using a machine that can produce work just as boring and inept as human writers.

ParticipantIt looks like JB has been very prolific lately in the same paragraph-free style. Given that he has been around so long isn’t it possible that the original JB is become inactive and his handle has been hijacked?

ParticipantTwo of my stories – The Certainty of Beauty & 27 Seconds of 8mm – contain no descriptions of haircutting but are both on topic and I’ve gotten good feedback for them. Indeed I skip quickly over stories that are nothing but line after line of describing haircuts in the most boring language imaginable.
